Thanks so much my lovely! Interestingly I could have been misled by 'long in the tooth' because in French, we have the expression 'avoir les dents longues' (to have long teeth) which doesn't have the same meaning at all as it means: 'being ambitious, greedy, careerist' :-) Some others I could think of; tell me if the one you await is among these: When chickens have teeth Armed to the teeth Have a sweet tooth Be fed up to the back teeth (with sb or sth) It's like pulling teeth Give one's eyeteeth for sb/sth or to do sth Fight tooth and nail an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth Rare/scarce as hen's teeth Regarding this latter, it reminds me of 'Quand les poules auront des dents !' (literally 'when hens have teeth!') and meaning 'never' or 'when the cows come home!'. Oh but silly me! you have it and in the 'male version' with 'When chickens have teeth' ;-) Bisous Sabe. Thank you! 😍🌹💗

Is it necessary to learn English language grammar, because I can never speak because of grammar, I have to learn English language grammar lots of hate, I don't want to speak English language but I am not getting confidence from inside. I feel like I will never be able to speak or understand English again, I have the most difficulty in understanding what to do I am a student of Hindi medium, And there's no one to solve my dilemma, So it is not possible that I will probably understand

If you allow me, she is Sabrah! Leila is the other one and is the brunette one; she has like mysteriously vanished into thin air with almost no warning and remains silent for quite a while now but hopefully will be back soon. For now, except that she moved to Portugal, her disappearance remains quite the enigma! She is half-Persian by her father. Hope that helps.

She didn't forget it as the lesson is about idioms containing the word 'teeth' or 'tooth'! That said, 'bite the bullet' is indeed a good synonym for 'grit one's teeth'.
