Ok, I see the problem going on with you oil change. I totally understand why it's hard to do given the location of your cross beam there. You have a large oil capacity in that oil pan, but you are using a somewhat small oil drain pan to do the job. May I suggest you go to the dollar store and buy a second drain pan. These are cheap at the dollar store. Then, when you drain your oil, start with one drain pan, catch 3 quarts or so, then switch the pan out with the other one. This way you avoid spilling. Both pans will be only about half full and easier to move around. This is the method I use. Also the Motorcraft oil filter is the way to go with any Ford engine. FL 820 is the standard filter for all the modern V8 engines.

Buy a pump that goes on the dip stick tube, suck oil out that way. So much easier and cheap enough to buy.

Hello, thank you for your comment. I believe different years required different amounts of oil? My owner's manual says 6 quarts with filter. If not done so please subscribe to my channel as I have subscribed to yours. Thanks again!
