Maurice! Been following you for a few years.... Congrats on all your success! Question i notice you draw Month , Week , Day zones different than your 5 min daytrading zones.... Looka like your using whole candles for higher time frames and on 5min zone are at the top or bottom of candles. Did you make a vid on how you draw M,W,D zones

Hey thanks! Yeah on higher timeframes it’s simply to cover the full candle to create the zone, but I don’t have a independent video on how to make those zones yet. I have it in the works though. It Will be a larger video so that will come out soon!

You always lend an insightful view and it helps immensely. Keep it coming.

Glad you think so and will keep going 😊

so you draw zones on weekly correct? Does that serve a daytrader or swing only? Do you need to go back and draw the zones on 5 min. chart for daytrading?

Check out each slide as the bottom explains the purposes for each chart. Monthly: Long term trend Weekly: Short Term trend Daily: Zones drawn to swing off of Hr: enter after confirmation here 5 min: draw daily for day trading only 1 min: enter after confirmation here U CAN swing trade off only weekly zones but there will simply be fewer trades off it even though they will be even higher quality. The best middle ground is zones from the daily chart. That way u can enter a swing trade from there or if u just want to exit same day u can make it a day trade. Same premise just holding duration changes.

@@MK-University Great stuff…so, any difference in Daily and 5 min and 1 min charts or are they the same?
@MK-University12 күн бұрын
@@shanecraven3222 not fully sure about what you mean but I think I can explain that for ya. Yeah all the charts are the same but it just depends on which combination of them u use for zones & charts. U can use Weekly for zone & daily for entry (longer term swing trade) Or Daily for zone & 1 hr for entry (shorter term swing trade that I mainly do) Or 5 min for zone & 1 min for entry (day trade) Or u can even combine them Daily for zone & 5 min for zone, & 1 min for entry (day trade mentioned at the end of the video where u would take the Monday trade).

Thanks! So you're going back 2 years on the monthly chart in order to create your zones. How far back are you looking on the weekly, day, and hour?
@MK-University5 күн бұрын
For weekly & day I am trying to look back not very far at all. The closer the better when possible. Only reason logically the monthly is so far is because it’s rare for zones to form so u HAVE to go farther back on the larger time frame.

Ok I need to practice drawing zones on higher time frames to understand what you do. Thanks Mr . Maurice

Yeah do what I did, simply go back the past 1-5 years in total and draw out zones to see which ones work on the daily timeframe. 👌

I wish all this was taught a couple years ago in your course.

Swing trading as a whole was added in the swing trading program about 1-1.5 years ago (investor academy). I was crafting it for quite a while and was testing it out, but it’s been perfected as of then so that’s why it was released then.

Last question: Do you only keep 2 zones at a time on higher time frames?
@MK-University12 күн бұрын
Keep only the zones you would use. Since they are a larger time frame when you think about it why would you keep 1 on there that is $100 away since you will not be able to use it any time soon for 6 months lol.

I understand the concept but I still dont understand how to Draw supply and Demand zones on higher time frames. I understand how on the 5min. chart for day trading. You use 1 big green candle but did you use the red candle too?
@MK-University12 күн бұрын
It’s basically 1 full candle on either the weekly chart or daily chart. As far as finding which is the right one there is no wrong answer. U just choose a “zone” on the daily chart and wait for it to get hit. Then u readjust ur zone if needed.

Another great break down from MKU. 💯 To reiterate your stop-loss on the swing trade, is it a tap back into the weekly zone, or was it a full candle losing in that zone? Or do you arbitrarily say "I'm out at Negative -$2000" hypothetically. 📝 edit: or was it a full candle *closing in that zone?
@MK-University12 күн бұрын
It is either the middle or bottom of the zone that it bounced off of is where u would exit 👍. Depends on ur own risk tolerance. That way everything is typically based on the zone. Realistically if I enter a swing trade and right away if it goes against me I honestly personally do exit after $2k though. Then I watch it to re-enter because I usually like for it to RIGHT AWAY go in my favor. But that’s not something everyone can do cus I’m fine to burn $2k many times.
