Great and honest vid about the main go to options. As you say and we all know through our own experiences confidence on one's own nuances and technique is also a key issue.

Quality video boys, thoroughly enjoyed that with some special moments shared. Most of what I’ve learned for trotting is from the both of you, thank you. Tight lines hope to meet up with you again sometime soon👌🔥

Cheers Dougie mate. Still reckon that grayling you lost at the net that day was a biggie.

Really interesting watch. It's not a fish ever properly targeted, but always one I'd love to catch and watching this has made me think definitely worth trying. 👍

If it's made you think that, then our job has been done. Thanks for the kind comments Robert.

Loads of good advice for the Grayling novice in there guys. Another great video. On reels, closed face is a good shout and a personal favourite.
@angling3605 ай бұрын
Thanks mate. Never thought of trying those reels.

Perfect timing on my night shift again and I need an idiots guide to grayling. Never targeted them but I’m going after them this winter 🥶 another night of binge watching on the cards 👏

Great stuff again guys have fished the clyde many times when its had colour in it even when pretty high and have caught grayling so.its always worth a chuck when you know the river well you get to find all the different places fish go in different conditions

Brilliant video , certainly think the swivel will be used for all trotting from now on , i could imagine it helps with fish that twist alot whilest fighting like grayling and dace ect .Have you ever used the Berkley fake eggs for grayling, or know anyone who has ?
@angling3605 ай бұрын
It most certainly will help mate, never heard of them mate, or heard of anyone using them.

Been using Davide Pearce floats lately. Trotting style floats.
