in this particular version, i was using just the Line 6 DL-4 delay pedal, but I've since moved up to the Boss RC-50. Glad you liked it! -Levi

well, sufjan already did a pretty acoustified version of chicago, but a few of those are cool ideas. one i'm working on is forty-six & 2 by Tool. I used to live in the UK until this past february... i'll definitely be back at some point.
