I'm neurodivergent and I work at a grocery store. It takes me a long time and a shit ton of mistakes, to understand basic things. Basically, I'm a massive dumb ass. I've already broken so many things, made things worse in attempts to fix mistakes and infinitely disappointed my manager. I wish I could say I'm stupid on purpose, but I'm legit doing my best. Trades jobs are high demand because few are willing apply and train for due to their high physical demand. Men usually apply for these jobs, I’ll give you that, but what does that have to do with the fact a female lawyer could be paid less than a male lawyer, for example?

8:16 I’ll be honest here. So Imma private contractor and back when I was just starting out, we were remodeling a huge apartment building. It had sat over the winter all abandoned and all the pipes had frozen. So when we started fixing them I made the mistake of hooking up the hot water to the toilet. But it honestly turned out to be the absolute best possible mistake that I’ve ever made. So now I’ve done it to my house and a number of other customers as well. Because NOBODY likes to sit down on a freezing seat, especially when you are half asleep! So by hooking up to the hot rather than the cold line. It makes it soooo much more comfortable quite frankly!! There’s not much that’s nicer than plopping down on a nice warm seat in the middle of winter!! It’ll honestly change your whole dumping experience for the better!! Then you can always switch over to the cold water line in the summer if you like. Just run both lines together and have a shark bite shut off valve on each. Then just switch at will. Trust me, it’s a complete game changer!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙌🏼💯

In his other hand he clutched a ziplock bag with three of his fingers inside. He had been doing the same thing with his lawnmower as this clown (but it was a heavy full-sized petrol lawnmower, not a light electric mower as this guy is using), and he had tried to lift the mower vertically up to cut a high section of hedge, lost his grip, and instinctively reached out to try and catch it as it fell. One, two, three fingers cut off. He was ushered through immediately. I have no idea if they were able to reattach his digits. So yeah, please don’t try this at home, kids!

The worst part is the people that drop their phones into the deep fryer. Those fuckers are violating so many regulations when it comes to working with groceries, they need to be fired on the spot. It's one thing if you're the waiter and merely carry the plates. But the cook? Hell no! He is touching his screen with his gloves, the screen I guarantee you he didn't sanitize before working. I don't think I need to tell you how dangerous that stuff can get if you work in a kitchen. Absolutely not made for that job!
