2:35 Do the math. If each dog consumes 10,000 calories and you have 14 dogs, that's 140,000 calories. And if 1lb of meat contains 800 calories, that is about 170 lb of meat on the sled. And that does not include packaging or luggage. That's one heck of a way to win a race!

I can't find Musher Strauss in the race archives. Which year did Musher Strauss run the Iditarod? Whose kennel is featured? Commands: "Haw" is correct, but "Gee" is pronounced with a "j" sound, not a hard "g".
