@@osamabinladen1585 how could you say that my 2 uncle has got arunachali wife , and also for your kind information many arunachali students are studying in my school And yes there may be some conflicts between assamese and an arunachali , and maximum are teenagers boys . So it's like they have some personal conflicts . So you can't say that that every assamese discriminate an arunachali, weell some assamese are also being criticized by arunachali , but it doesn't mean every assamese or arunachali There still exists intercaste marriages between assamese and arunachali If the thing that you said were true then people would never allow intercaste marriage So please lets live by unity as a northeastern🙂❤

One more distinguishing point- In Assam we have Upper Assam and Lower Assam.. both have different cultures and different tone in speaking the Assamese language..But Guwahati being the center and the city has got all mixed..living in unity..😉😊

I'm from UP but I love whole north east I spend 3 years in Assam and studied in kendriya vidyalaya tezpur .I visited kaziranga national park and best moment of my life to watch Asiatic Bengal tiger with naked eyes it was thrilled moment. Being army personnel I have low connectivity with civilian but l love this place .and no words to describe beauty of meghalaya,shillong,heaven on earth.

I am a Bengali but have my roots in Assam. But I have been born and raised in Delhi, so I'm a delhite. See how that works? So basically I have to be protective about 2 cultures here, and so often I get to hear stupid stuff from people who I suppose used to fail in geography. I do agree that many Assamese people look either Burmese or Bhutanese since its very close to that region.Many mainland Indians can definitely get confused by seeing northeast Indians including Assamese because its more closer to Burma and Bhutan than mainland India.

Uttrakhand and assam both are Himalayan states..both have same vegetation same food habit too..there are some language similarities too.. surprisingly..both states have glorious warriors clans..ahoms in assam kumanini rajputs in uttrakhand..so i love the state..i can talk fluent Assamese . both hindu pahadi and Assamese..

love from kolkata ...great, people from eastern part of India are standing up against discrimination and generalisation. rest of India should understand West Bengal is different(no, we are not bangladeshis), Assam is different alongwith other north eastern states, Odisha is different, there is a massive cultural heritage unique to eastern India and we are proud East Indians!!!!

I have relatives in Guwahati! Cousins, aunt, uncle and grandparents. My friends have never heard of it. But it's a lot of fun when I go there! Except it gets a tad bit annoying for not being allowed to eat non-veg(my family there is vegetarian), but otherwise I absolutely love visiting places there and playing with my younger cousins! 😀
