bro what the FUCK this legit made me fucking CRY dude!! Like straight up hand over my mouth CRY!!! The fucking. Song???? Their expressions, the little flashes of each other, the transition of "Eds!!" "It's Eddie." The whole atmosphere of the song, going through the motions, something always missing but they don't know what it is so they just keep going because what else is there, y'know? The sad, dulled out blue, images of smiles and eyes and laughter. They are barely holding it together, but they do because it's all they know. Watching them grow up a little, their love blooming but never really getting realized. Fuck the lyrics "They're selling me for parts." Because they're both so fucking empty in their jobs, cogs in a lifeless machine, losing themselves every day, whatever bits of them they had left. That part where Eddie is washing his face and sees Richies eyes and cries, man that part made me cry, you can feel the pain and desperation there, fuck it's so good. And then all of the Losers together, another love he's lost, man I can't take it. And the ending, Eddie leaving, Richie banging his head, okay man i get it you just want to rip my heart out thank u

Ok. Wo w . This is so good and I’m breaking down! The idea of them seeing and missing each other but forgetting who they were... ouch. Richie seeing Eddie as he’s being escorted somewhere hurts SO MUCH because if he wasn’t chained to his career he could chase him but he’s pulled away :(((( and Eddie’s parts got me the most beautiful especially because of that transition fade from his coffee cup to him laying flowers on his mom’s grave and taking pills and then marrying Myra... HELLO??? IM IN PAIN???? and the side by side bed panel came for my THROAT. Them both waking up at the same time but halfway across the country.... at different times.... g o d.... and the flashback scenes are so GOOD and so nostalgic UGH what hits the hardest is Richie dreamed up the memory of him crying at the kissing bridge and hitting his head and that’s when he wakes up... This made me cry so many times. Dude I wanna change my whole life around, I wanna pick up my tablet, I wanna paint, I wanna tell my best friend I lover her. AnYThiNg. This video is making me lose my mind its so good. I love the opening shot, it has such good composition and emotion, and I love the time lapse of Eddie at work, and how the chair moves slightly. I love the walking to the stage scene and how he only smiles when the light hits his face. The haunting sound of the song, the implications of the lyrics, how they must have felt living shit lives apart wondering what's missing, but not actually able to dO anything about it. I love the blur, and the tear drop transition, how gorgeously you redraw the scenes from their childhood, the colour palette, how accurate the characters look. Having them sing along fucking brOke me. And the way you had the divide between them in their current age, but removed it for the flashback at the same time the song did that ethereal-quality part again. LOve it. Love the ending. Love all the tears and the longing and the linework and ideas. Incredible. I don't care how poorly this comment was written, I just love every fuckin bit of this video, and its making me want to flip my whole life around, and I dunno if I can ever express to you how much its impacting me.
