The issue we face is one that affects the whole world, and everyone on many levels. We have allowed our birthright of our freewill to make choices to be controlled by others, who have always given us reasons why they must hold our power, most recent is democracy and it's elected representatives. When we make a position of power, it will be abused as with every system in the past, which is why now we must make a new system. Direct democracy through social media, no more positions of power!

Plus, I am pretty sure that it's not a perfect system, but at least the majority of people agree, they want peace, and they don't want to destroy the planet they live on. Then the next big hurdle will just be learning how to get along with one another.

my moms side is german/irish, her family was from the midwest. my dad is from brooklyn, his family is from italy. i was born/raised in Nashua NH n call this beautiful land my home. im not true 'native' nor do i fully identify with my european heritage, i was raised in a fairly traditional american household. so i guess im just ur typical melting-pot white american. but ive always related to indigenous beliefs/values. does being born here make me native at all? can i be an honorary native? lol

No it is not. It is a people and environment movement. It is for anyone who wants to be a part of it. No one owns the Idle No More movement. The above statement is not a true statement, as I work with people from around the world within the Idle No More movement.

Yes, thank you I am quite aware of that. Also not sure where the word "selfish" came into play as I am certain that I had already pointed out that we work with people world wide. Your comment seems like you are attempting to incite and argument, in my opinion.

Tori Cress Hi Tori - I do apologize. I was meaning to address the comment of Gerald Wolfe. Not yours. I completely agree with your comment and in no way am I seeking to incite or argue with you! :) Not quite sure how my brain missed toggling the right button... You certainly had pointed out that you work with people world wide. :) No argument there! :) I am a big supporter of INM and what INM stands for. My day job is one that supports First Peoples and honouring the lands and waters of Turtle Island. :)
