Sorry about my voice quality in this one, I don't know what happened with my voice cutting in and out. It was fine while still in the menu, then once I loaded into the run it started and I only noticed once the video was done. If a game is too demanding, can it affect my microphone?! It seems that my voice volume got so low that my noise gate kept thinking my voice was noise (a filter that is there to not let through random background noises or me just breathing). Anyways, I adjusted some recording and microphone settings to hopefully avoid this in the future. I am still completely confused as to why it happened here during the runs though. Does anyone have any guesses?

I don't think it has anything to do with the game using so many resources since it still happens when the game is on a "choose an upgrade" screen. It's more likely that your noise gate setting didn't allow a lot of variation in the volume of your voice and that your microphone might have been slightly further away than usual. Changing your noise gate settings should be enough to resolve it, I hope.

@@binbashyt no settings or microphone position were changed here, so why did it happen so much in this one compared to all my other videos? I did end up boosting my mic volume in windows and reduced noise gate activity after this video, but that just seems like a workaround at this point. 🤷‍♂ I'll keep an eye on it in future runs in this game

The Cyclops being the marksmen class is a reference to "The Odyssey" After leaving the island with the cyclops Odysseus taunts the cyclops who throws a boulder and knocks their ships off course again.

Try Hector main skill in combo with the trowing ricochet shield skill and the spike trowing, it will be too OP

i tryed to run this game on my steam-deck but it doesn't transfer the save games (all the progress) for some reason. have you tryed it? Also, i feel like all the characters are the same since all the powers are the same except the starting power

You could very easily have done the armor thing, the explosion around you ability is better than the poison AOE.

Do the run again, but focus much more on status and poison stuff. Felt like you went with the knife throw 3x as the "garlic"

Game looks great and fun but the characters having nothing but running animation (which looks funny) even against obstacles and bare handed is a turn off for me. They should at least let them carry their signature weapons or if budget allows let the acquired skills show up on characters like back weapons and trinkets.
