REVERSE BULLET HELL, WITH MINING
Kill bugs, upgrade your gear, and delve ever deeper into the lethal caves of Hoxxes. Collect and assemble a devastating array of guns, unleash hell upon wave after wave of alien monsters in fast and frenetic combat, and tunnel your way to collect precious riches from deep within the cave walls. Each mission is unique, using procedural cave generation and enemy waves, just as you've come to know from Deep Rock Galactic.
COMPLETE MISSION OBJECTIVES TO BECOME STRONGER
Delve deep, Miner! Once the Drop Pod releases you into the oppressive darkness, you are on your own. Complete the mission objectives set forth by the Company, and make it back to the Drop Pod in time to try your luck at even more deadly and lucrative encounters. Progress deeper and deeper into the planet while you grow ever stronger, survive all the way to the very end of your assignment, and finally get extracted alongside your hefty sack of loot.

I believe you can finish while moonwalking by perfectly timing you walking into the drop pod, as in walking in right when the door closes, so you can get in, but not out. Never tried/saw it tho, only read this, so no idea if that can even work.

I've become too addicted to Biome Mastery runs and scanners so here's a few tips for everyone: - ALL Scanners (XP, Gold, Nitra) are limited to 3 per run. - Gold Scanners, by my calculation, give you a 15% chance to get gold per block. Nitra Scanners (C-tier artefact for me btw) I estimate to be around 3-5% per block. - The Gold/Nitra/XP only spawns at the initial damage to the rock and when it is destroyed, not in-between. This means going for batches of 'fresh' rock is better than something like a group of Morkite pre-damaged already - Meta resource blocks do not give Gold/Nitra/XP from scanners IMO Nitra Scanner and Nitra economy is pretty bad compared to Gold. They should think about adding a second shop reroll using less Nitra

brother why on earth wouldn't you reroll on levelup for 15 gold but do more expensive rerolls in shop all the time

You can only pick one on levelup, you can buy 5 things per reroll in shop. Plus he didnt really need anything towards the end😂

I checked and can confirm that the falling rocks do yield ressources when equipped with a scanner.

I think, heal on level up is actually decent artefact in no movement challenges. You do get some levels during the stage. After you survive final stage boss - you get lots of levels, and can heal up HP.

When a weapon has mining on it it should view walls as second priority enemies and fire at them even if there are no bugs around. I think the turrets do that but why not the grenades?

Tried doing a similar run the other day and even with rerolls I couldn't find a single damn scanner..... Now I know where they all went.

I've been doing these runs lately and I have better results when I take the HE Grenade 1st (cluster, TNT) and then either the Stubby or Warthog (plasma) on the 3rd slot, Cryo last (cluster, TNT).

You got this run so I could get my run: Cryo and HE nades, both with triple split and mining. Reload speed down to .3 and .45 seconds. Didn't get one single scanner artifact. DISAPPOINTED DOPAMINE RUSH.

GG - i cant even finish hazard 5 standard version. Not enough DPS. Need to learn more from you. I think i get too powerful too early and relaised how much XP i am missing now due to not mining enough. Changing my ways now!

Just admit you did 500 tries prior to this! My mining runs usually get the wrong overcharges, and at most 2 scanners. Or if I get a promising run, I only pick move speed, pickup radius, mining, and have level 2 weapons at the boss, and get wrecked...

you don't really need more than one mining, plus the HE nade is pretty terrible. not like he seemed to care about whatever his weapons were besides cryo anyways beyond what tag mastery bonuses they'd provide

Haha that cryo bomb by level 3 is insane. I just did a run with the cryo bomb and was dissing on just how low the damage and reload was compared to other cold weapons, but this is just an insane use! Edit: Well you ran into the same issue I came too no damage :D. Definitely need to supplement with other weapons. Though that ending. Just straight up deleted the Dreadnought! Well done Cub!

@@fepethepenguin8287 Yep it did end up top of his list in the end, but was still quite the journey. I still think I would pick other cold weapons for crowd control but this mining/scanner run was extremely impressive.

@@brianhunt6943 last night I tried a cryo mining build.. lvl 3 I started taking damage upgrades, cuz it was so low. By the end I was tossing nukes... damage really does scale good

This game is weird. As we've seen in the cryo 10 beam video, if you manage to get lucky and pick up an upgrade it keeps coming back, like weapon range, or +1 beam. It kept being offered. When it rains it pours I guess.

I know mining speed doesn't affect grenade mining. In some very basic observation it does seem like damage affects the grenade mining speed though.

How do we top it? We do not :D. This is perfection :D. But who knows :D. Wanted to do this kind of run for a while now but still enjoying the weapon masteries :D. Soon.. soon :D. Hopefully my PC will not explode. Cheers!
