👍 I watched several videos and yours was the best. Since it was my first time, I didn't know how to best get the wire between the screens. I finally did but torn the old screen a little. I hope it will still work. I kind of wish as a novice at home, I would have bought the touch screen instead of just the clean screen only.

How water resistant do you think it will be after this repair?

Looks very good! Is it possible to get the air bubbles out by hand or is a vaccuum mashine necessary?

What should you use to get the bubbles out? If you don’t have a laminator or pressure device?

A glass without OCA and then buy some LOCA (liquid) på the oled on something a few cm tall to raise it from the table, make a pool in the middle of the oled screen with LOCA and then very carefully place the glass on top, very slowly to make sure no bubbles form, let it spend 15 minutes to spread out by its own weight and then slightly tap on the sides on the glass to center it properly, best done with micropscope so that you can ser if its centered correct, its fine to do by eye. Now use a strong UV light to cure it, i give it 15-30 minutes to make 100% sure its cured, if you mass produce them you can use a finger polish hardener box and place them under. It might be a bit crooked but the more you make them, the better you get

Hi Oli and team, sorry if I'm the one thats been pissing you off about leaving links in the video. I understand its very hard to run a business and KZbin channel at the same time. Your videos are top notch mate and have helped me do some repairs of my own. You have a great wealth of knowledge and thanks for sharing that with the repair community. I'll hang up my keyboard and leave you in peace. Much love.

I'm part way through my first glass replacement on a first gen se , everything seemingly went well . Decided to test the display prior to installing the new glass/dig , no image . I get a charge tone when plugging in and a little haptic feedback on long press of the push button but no image . Even under a microscope the display looks perfect . Any idea what may have gone wrong here ? Am i not supposed to see an image at this stage ? Thanks for your time

Your flex cables are likely damaged, id recommend to take out the logicboard and try replacing the flex cables, this requires microsoldering skills and is very hard to do

You happen to have a tutorial for the series 9 as well?

great video, definitely one i am going to watch a couple of times. Separating the screen using the diamond wire is a massive skill which you made look really easy, i have a few watches to practice on but isn't gonna be easy. Your heat with suction, does every hole suck lol, or is it only some of them?

During some bits of the video, yes, I agree but try recording this stuff and repair the watch simultaneously mate Заебали комментаторы из СНГ, всё у них хуёво всегда, ни одного слова приятного не могут сказать никогда, пиздец
