and some of the sickest bassists in the industry. I only wish Nick Fyffe had stayed longer. It makes me sad to see him in the background of Temperance Movement, and even worse, seeing Stuart Zender doing next to nothing that reflect his talents. Best in the biz alongside Bernard Edwards IMO.

Man, you deserve at very least a cameo in a Jamiroquai show. The truth is: Zender helped a lot giving Jamiroquai music signature. This signature was sampled and sometimes even copied in every music after he left. Jay deserves for sure all he achieved but the flagship signature came alive @ Return of Space Cowboy. with Toby and Stuart

Question: On "Don't Give Hate A Chance," (the verse octaves part) what is the most effective right-hand finger pattern? Obviously the lower octave is played with your index finger on the 1, but for the (&-A) notes on the higher octave string, do you hit the first note with same index finger, or start with the middle finger? Either way I guess the index finger will be used twice in close succession, but it's a building block exercise for me. I'm trying to figure out the correct pattern to build speed off of. There's a lot of bass instructional videos out there but most don't show what the right hand is doing, close-up. Thanks!
@Idogomusic Жыл бұрын
I play the lower note with the index finger, and the two higher notes - first with the index and then the middle. It's the easiest way to bounce back to the next lower note. But just for the sake of practicing you can do this - i (low) m i (high), m (low) i m (high) and loop it. That will give you super alternate picking skills.
