I try to post monthly, so if you haven't been notified after a whole month, you can expect to find a new cover waiting for you here 👀 And yes I try my best to bring out the high energy of the originals through my covers, so there's a lot of heavy strumming and percussion and such for songs like this. I finally decided to learn this because this is the only arrangement I really like. i have a question, I see that you're slapping twice on some part, are you slapping the guitar body then the strings? or are you just muting then slap? I'm not sure... 0:27

Thank you so much!! For those I'm actually doing a wrist thump on the guitar body, and then a string slap immediately after. The wrist thump is to simulate a kick drum, and the string slap a snare. There is no muting involved when I do the wrist thumps, and the string slap is mainly on the 6th string (which naturally mutes it).

Ah I bought mine from a local store, so I don't have a link to it. It's a rather common design for a rolling capo though, nothing special about it 😅

Ah sorry, I actually bought mine when I was overseas in the US a while back, I don't remember the specific brand. But you'll be able to easily find an identical one on Amazon! It's just called a "sliding capo" or "rolling capo"! If they're breaking because they get seized up over time, I've found it helps a lot to lubricate the joints. I'd recommend using some kind of teflon lubricant (most bike shops should sell them), as it's thin enough to seep into the joints and dries very clean without residue. Just make sure to clean away any excess, especially on the parts that make contact with your guitar!
