what I notice is a lot of the percussive sound doesnt really pick up that well. Which kind of in my opinion didnt able to build up to lead to the big play at the end (2:24 around there). But personally still really love the arr. absolutely amazing play.

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I recorded this using only condenser mics away from the guitar, and it seems like it’s struggling to pick up the percussions. Using a soundhole/acoustic pickup might solve the issue (taking reference from Kent Nishimura’s covers); will look into that more going forward! Room for improvement 😉

It's Greg Bennett's Glider Capo. Please do beware of many counterfeits out there. I really recommend getting the genuine one, even if it's slightly more expensive, as it slides really well

Hey Steve! Love this cover! Since you use so many different tunings I wanted to ask you if you could only have three guitars, which tunings would they be set to? I have a guitar in standard and just got another but not sure if I should have my guitar tech set it to DADGAD, an open tuning or some other tuning that would be more versatile for fingerstyle. Hope my question makes sense

Really sorry for the late reply. Hmm... I've mostly been using only this one guitar for everything 😂 changing tunings when necessary (my strings might be screaming for help LOL) But to answer your question, I'd pick: • CGEbGCEb for C minor root • Open D (DGDF#AD) for D root • CGDGBE (this cover's) for G root (and can change 2nd string B to C easily for playing on C root) and yes, I don't like playing standard ehe Might be convenient to have multiple guitars ready for different scenarios, but I can't be bothered to do maintenance for all guitars, at least for the moment 😅
