What's something imteresting abt Minji herself too is that I'm pretty sure she's the one member out of the five that does livestreams on Phoning *the most* I may not have Phoning myself, but when I see translated archives of the lives, a lot of them include solo lives from her. I highly doubt it's from any sort of free time, but the fact that she puts aside that much time to interact with fans thru the live app is something definitely significant to me

Minji is just precious, the journey to being in NEWJEANS might have not been easy but to be honest I don’t think the group would be complete without her. Minji overall just has a fun personality that matches so well with the rest of the members which makes the dynamic between each of them more enjoyable to watch, I think that she will continue to grow as a amazing artists as well as the rest of the group. The thing I like most about Minji is her ability to communicate through facial expressions. I don't mean the typical aegyo performance stuff.... she just has a knack for letting her eyes and cheeks do the talking. This is a really rare skill, and it's why I think Minji is going to be a great drama or comedy actress someday.

Oh my God, you almost made me cry. It's like, seriously, how I see Minji, this young woman who's like super passionate about her job, the group members, and her fans. I could like totally go on and on about her, but what I love the most about her is how she's, like, so different from the other group members. And it's these differences that, like, bring them all together and make them a unique group. Like, for example, for peeps like me with this deep voice, who can sometimes be a bit awkward or controlling, she makes us feel like we're not alone, y'know? That's why I'd love for more people to, like, really get to know her beyond just this pretty face she's got going on.

I'm older than her but for some reason something about her is deeply intriguing to me, I've been a kpop fan for 8 years now and I still find her very different from any other idol I've ''stanned'' in the past. I love how intelligent, kind and witty she is but I also equally love the fact she's super frank, blunt and at times irreverent-- it's part of her very 3 dimensional charcter. I’ve been a K-pop enjoyer since 2018 but didn’t really get into it until 2022 I’ve had biases and just one ult for years but without really engaging with their content life or anything. It wasn’t until Minji started to suddenly appear on my ig that it happened it was like ult at first glance I didn’t know anything about her nor her group but I was already so hooked I would watch her content be videos, photos, edits, songs anything Minji related across all media platforms 24/7. I just couldn’t get enough of her and that had never ever happened to me so I strongly believe that she is very special. In the beginning, I was just enamored of her visual but as I got deeper I found out she wasn’t an ice princess as she appeared instead she was an intelligent, cute, funny, and mature young woman who loved her members and fans like no one else. It’s been months already and the attachment it’s intact I believe the reason why could be the fact she's from 2004 like me which makes this parasocial thing stronger cause she feels like a friend like some classmate I could had. It’s so weird to me so unlike me that at times I feel even frustrated for getting so attached to an idol like that but I don’t see myself letting go of her any time soon. She’s such an amazing artist and person that I’m just so happy to get to see her grow and become even better I admire her very much and will continue to support her❤.

Minji to me is a femme fatale, she executes whatever she puts her mind to. Newjeans isn't just another kpop group this is lightning in a bottle. Diverse personalities that seem very grateful for each opportunity given to them. The first group to be at lollapooloza and getting that big of a reaction from an American audience. After watching their vlog of that performance it truly was heartwarming to see them get overwhelmed at the positive response they received after only debuting a year prior. I know they will do great things and I look forward to it! 🐰

Cute video, though Minji, as well as any other idol, are whoever you perceive them as. To claim this is who they truly are based on their idol persona is simply naive. I find Minji to be quite a character, and I base my impression of her on her phoning lives mostly. Unlike their other content (which may often be scripted fully or to some extent), this is raw, live reactions and conversations. Overall, I find her funny, intelligent, and surprisingly mature for her age. She is natural with the fan service, I mean, she just knows how to do it "right." What impresses a lot is that she is not afraid to stand out for herself, even if this could mean to not behave in an idol - acceptable manner. I feel as this is where her strong character shines the most. All in all, I'm very intrigued by her, and I find her to be one of the most interesting people who have debuted in the last few years.

As much as I like New Jeans, the one thing I can never ignore or get past is that at their core, they are a corporate product. Just like every other K-Pop group, J-Pop group, etc; it's all a facade. They aren't long time friends coming together to make music like how real bands do. They are random girls that have been cherrypicked by businessmen in suits to make a profit. The worst part is when these girls (especially Minji and Hanni) get too old, they will be replaced without a thought.

Well, of course their relationship with their agency and staff is temporary and it's like any other employment contract, but you simply can't fake a friendship as genuine as the members'. They see each other as family and have gone through a lot together. They're also well aware of what could happen to the group in the future and they may or may not continue as NewJeans, but that doesn't mean they won't be able to keep in touch or see each other again.
