10:00 This is why I think Jason not playing his idol at F8 was even dumber than Ozzy not playing his the round before. I never thought of that. He probably would have gone after James, then Alexis still goes because Erik wins Immunity and Amanda still finds the idol since Jason would have played it and a new one would have been hidden. Michele in Winners at War 1. Stephen in Tocantins Obviously there are reasons why every single one of them lost ranging from their competition was simply better to they were more or less trying to lose, but I think they all had a solid argument to make going into FTC but ended up on the wrong end of a shut-out.

So I know this is technically not a vote off but this one was the closest I got to actually crying at a “vote off”. The F4 fire making in WAW really did have everything narratively. I’m not the greatest at describing these kind of things but just the entire atmosphere, the back and forth between the 2, the 2 front runners of this game for most of the merge sitting side by side as ride or die’s pretty much the entire season as one of the closest , if not the closest alliance in Survivor history. Add into the genuine real life friendship Tony and Sarah had with the love, kindness, compassion they had for each other made it all the more better. Then having not just WAW wrap up with Sarah’s speech, but all the way back to Cagayan sealed the deal. Getting a little (a lot) dark... Due to my own health issues, Game Changers was supposed to be the last season I ever watched. I mean i didnt know 100% but I was not exactly around thespians that were totally fine with their kid dying young. Imagine spending what are likely your last years alive with a certified autistic special interest in Survivor... and in the same season with a vile transphobic act that i got to see Very Good People excuse or defend, the last episode I ever watched was when one of the worst most heartbreaking moments in Survivor not related to bigotry and dehumanization happened AGAIN. It's a pretty minor detail in my life but I was hoping to use the show as a distraction from *awkwardly gestures to everything* and in the very last possible episode I was expected to watch, the show decided to absolutely dunk on me. It's comparatively minor in the grand scheme of everything, and it's not like a million dollars was taken from me while egotistical fuckheads called me a bad player for not finding a trinket in the first few days, but it definitely felt like the subliminal was God fucking with me on the way out.

Ciries elimination in game changers is the reason I quit watching the show. Survivor is not what it used to be. The actual social game and strategy, which makes the game so good, is now so overshadowed by an ever increasing onslaught of advantages and twists. So much air time has to be dedicated to who has what advantage that there's no time left to actually flesh out the game, who's bonded with who and what are the dynamics of the tribes. I had been feeling that for a while but Ciries elimination just highlighted the problems perfectly. No one should be eliminated simply because every single other person is immune.

The two vote outs that always gut punch me in the feels are Dan Fuego’s vote off and Rudy in All Stars

Cirie could have taken up a few spots on this list. Janet's makes me more angry than sad. IofT really was the worst. Honorable mention for Malcolm's in GC.

I don't get why you were sad about Dan's vote-off, Luke, considering that you've pretty much bashed La Mina's blandness in the past.

Sarah's elimination in Winners at War is sad imo 😢😢😢 Tony was crying.

Excessive advantages and twists have screwed over pl😢like Cirie and Janet, yet the producers went even more hardcore on them in n the new era.

I thought Cirie’s Game Changers exit was the saddest (especially since she didn’t actually get voted out 😢) still not over it.
