Nashville here, 70 yrs old, Dad was a musician on records and Opry for yrs with a huge star. I have a lot of respect for that young man there. He spoke like an old soul during the shots of his home. Good luck young man.

I am so intrigued by this young fella. The moment he opened his mouth I knew he was an Alabama boy. Is this recent or some time ago? I'd love to follow up on him. Do you know if he has any other videos? If this is recent I'd like to make sure I watch him. I'm in North Alabama and he sounds like so many of the kids here. Just precious. Can't stop crying with what he went through 😢 but happy at the same time that they come out of it😊, good to see a young contestant pure at heart, not trying to be hollywoodish out there but true to himself, very respectful and humble, reminded me of Iamtongi last year's winner, we need more of these young generation to come out as role model to others at their age and older folks can learn from them also, this handsome boy will go far in life, he already has " GOD" in him. Frankly, I didn't hear any flaws. This young boy wrote lyrics and sang a polished and authentic form of music that longtime professionals often wish to do. Because of the country music format, his music would fall up under country soul. The lyrics are poetically and profoundly written and melodically recited. If his song was played on country music radio with polished instrumentation, and him not identified as a 15 yr old, listeners would be clamoring to know who is this country music star. That's old soul country music with modern poetic sophisticated and intelligent lyricism. Moreover it's a blues with country overtones. This young man and his mother have lived the blues and its seeping through his soul. He's a one off talent and there should be a rush for his discovery. The country music world must encircle and embrace this unique young talent.
