Exactly what I thought. She cannot win here but on The Voice, where they work with the contestants she has a chance. Now that she has gone through American Idol she and threw away the opportunity to win it and you cannot enter it twice, so maybe another year she will try The Voice.

American Idol isn't what it used to be. Even with a rejection, or if you barely make it in, don't take it as the final say. Famous people have been rejected in these contests and still became very successful.

I don't like when they do this. I've seen a couple of these where they have a contestant with an average voice, but they have a famous relative, so they give them a yes. Then Katie stabbed Lionel in the back. Right after the girl stopped singing, Katie said her voice sounded young, and she wasn't sure if she could match up with the other contestants. Then Lionel agreed, and he voted first and said no. Then Katie votes a yes and left it up to Luke.

That is how some songs are sung in Portuguese, Spanish, and French. They speak it to convey more emotion. I prefer all singing but that is just my preference. 😊

I think the young lady needs to put lots of work in, if she's serious about this being her craft ! You know as well as I do, if someone is good, there's no question ! Everyone feels it !
