You probably already know this (I’ve seen you trying it) but after you land a shimmy with stamp hp you get ex fan toss hold forward and hold ex. Only for the first barrage. Without stocks it leaves you plus 14 or something and with a flame stock you can jump in. Also since I’m typing this one thing you should know is she can back walk shimmy after her forward throw dash up. It’ll make throws from most people miss. Hope this helps

Mai is ok. She is not weak, but she has very noticeable flaws that keep her from being a threat. Idom is used to play with one hand tied to his back, aka picking Manon, so to him, Mai seems like a good character.

Yes please change characters. Manon is a good character but until she's get a better balance patch, she's holding you back. Mai isn't as OP as many people think. I feel she's just A-tier at the moment which is fine. Mai will give you much more options to express your skills and reads than Manon allows.
