So, Jay, I see the climate control is configurable. Are the other two apps configurable, when you can choose which music "Vitalize" plays, when you say it plays "upbeat music"? Can we choose what each "mood" does for functions?

That's awesome, but are we ever going to get Android Auto?

Unfortunately there is no update on it as of now. Android Auto is getting a much needed re-work sometime this summer, but we'll see if BMW finally bites. It's just odd that since "digital keys" were a feature, it only works with Droids still to this day. Android Auto: no Apple Carplay: yes Android digital key: yes iPhone digital key: no ..makes no sense.

Lack of Android Auto is due to contracts and licensing on the corporate level. According to BMW, part of their requirements to have that installed is an agreement not to sell/utilize data collected while the customer is using android auto. They would agree but Apple did. The compromise is Screen Mirroring but it's not very practical and it's not on every vehicle. Digital key works on Android and not Iphone because Apple has the NFC chip locked so it can only be used for Apple Pay. It's really all weird corporate decisions that don't work at a consumer level

@@kelseyvogel3050 I doubt that Apple collects no data at all, if they really don't and agreed to what BMW asked then I have whole new level of respect for Apple. Although they just revealed they kept and listened to voice interactions with siri for years. Random people listened to your siri questions.

Long time later but it’s dripping in 2020 for any car with iDrive 7. Don’t think it takes up the full screen though. You probably knew this though 👍
