Bellerophon Tames Pegasus With the help of the Goddess Athena, the prince Bellerophon captures and tames Pegasus, who proves to be of great service to his new master, aiding him in his many adventures. 5:31 5. The Chimera Bellerophon and Pegasus encounter the Chimera, a fire breathing monster -- part lion, goat and serpent -- which slaughters all who attack it. Together, they defeat the beast and fly off in triumph. 6:43 6. The Fall of Bellerophon Overcome with pride, Bellerophon attempts to ride Pegasus to the top of Mount Olympus to join the Gods. A gadfly sent by Zeus stings Pegasus, causing him to throw Bellerophon back to Earth, where he is left to wander alone for the rest of his life. 7:29 7. Pegasus Ascends to Olympus Free again, Pegasus flies alone up to Olympus, where he is given shelter in the Olympian stalls. 8:21 8. Epilogue A final musical reference to the constellation named after Pegasus, which is still seen in the night sky in modern times.

Thankfully you didn’t mess up 😭 one of my classmates messed up and they were the solo cello and my teachers face was red of embarrassment and all of us violinists looked at each other with wide eyes 😭😭 Highschool orchestra is a nice memory of mines too :)

Bruh the day we played this for our concert in my highschool the cello in 0:16 fucked up and made a voice crack to that part and it sounded funny but my orchestra teachers face was literally red of embarrassment but we continued and had no mistakes after.
