I have same exact car 2020 as well. The sensors are so sensitive on the coolant just top it off a bit more past max and you will be good. And yes I love IE getting an mbrp exhaust on soon!

that's what the issue ended up being haha, and that's sick man! the mbrp sounds great, my plan is to stick with the stock exhaust with the ie downpipe, but i'm planning on getting a vibrant resonator installed this saturday to cut down the rasp/drone at higher rpm

@JayChesterman
@JayChesterman Жыл бұрын
It actually ended up just needing the coolant topped off, I had a slow leak from a coolant hose that I had installed with my IE intake a while back, I had fixed the leak but the coolant was just low enough that it was tripping the sensor periodically as the coolant expanded/contracted. Thanks for the tip though! I’ll keep it in mind if I have it happen in the future.

Can you Stage1 with no bolt-ons? Just map & dsg tune? :)
@JayChesterman
@JayChesterman 4 ай бұрын
you can run stage 1 with no bolt ons but IE highly recommends an intake, I ran an intake and turbo inlet for about a year before I went stage 1 Just adding the intake made the car a lot more fun just because of the louder induction sounds 😆

@@JayChesterman kinda late reply, but i was looking into that engine thing between a3 and s3, theres actually many differences between two of 2.0 tfsi engines in a3 and s3 all the way from different cylinder heads to higher pressure injectors and other stuff. @JayChesterman
@JayChesterman Жыл бұрын
@@brunosilva6827 np! iGround is a Canadian site so it may be better to find a vendor in the states if that's where you're based. I had the grill installed by the local vw/audi shop that i have my other work done at, i've got the ACC sensor on the grill and it needed to be relocated a bit in order to line up with the opening for it in the new grill, which required a bit of work. If you have the ACC sensor there's a good chance it'll need to be shifted up in order to linen up properly, and if you move the sensor there's a chance it'll throw a code and require recalibration by Audi if you want it to function. I got lucky and mine didn't require it and was working fine after the move. If you don't have the ACC sensor, the install shouldn't be too terrible but you do need to remove the front bumper, there's a bunch of videos on youtube that cover the process pretty well!

Do you think it is worth to get the turbo inlet pipe with the OEM stock box with aftermarket drop in filter?
@JayChesterman
@JayChesterman Жыл бұрын
hey man! i'm not sure to be honest, i think it also depends on what you're aiming to achieve by getting swapping stock inlet out for the bigger one. i had purchased the inlet and the intake and installed them at the same time so i'm not sure how much of a difference just the inlet would make, i've read on forums that it does increase the induction sound and there's some slight improvement to throttle response though!

I have the AUDI A3 S-line premium plus. Nardo Grey. I have the following bolt ons: cold air intake(IE), intercooler (mishimotto), downpipe (IE), and a diverter valve by GFB+. Stage 2 low torque, with TCU tune. By IE of course. Some wraps around the car. Currently have a carbon fiber hood on the way and rear diffuser. Then AWE switch path exhaust is my next purchase. I had that same fault show up before forgot I had that problem. I resolved it by unplugging and replugging. If you want to replace the cold air intake you will lose some coolant. The pressure with be thrown out of wack. Causing that fault too. So make sure to top it off.
