How the controls parameters are defined in the model?

Any variable (from the variables data module, which defines global variables) can be set by OptQuest or the Process Analyzer. If you use those variables in the parameters of different blocks (rather than using literal numbers), then you can set the nominal settings with the initial conditions of those variables, and OptQuest and Process Analyzer can adjust these externally as they step through different experimental conditions.
