IEH Verano Day One - 2024 MHF Spectacular Franklin, TN Extreme Mustang Makeover

Come along as we watch Isidro work with IEH Verano on his first day of gentling training. Verano will be competing at the 2024 Mustang Heritage Spectacular Extreme Mustang Makeover in Franklin, TN this June. We were teaching a clinic this day and the clinic participants got a treat of watching Isidro work with this beautiful Devils Garden mustang during the lunch break. Verano got his first touches, a halter, started leading and desensitized to the stick and string. It got a little scary there for Isidro because we are not used to working in such close quarters. Isidro worked through it and Verano is well on his way to becoming a total puppy dog!

That was truly amazing. There is a section where you are talking to the people outside of the stall, that the horse is watching you and listening to every word. The softness in his eyes and the beginnings of trust. What a privilege it was to see that.

I’ve been trying to call your New York location for info on your Camp for adults and the fee as well as the criteria. I miss having you guy's in Arizona. Yesterday I saw 3 small herds of Salt River wild horses. When I was in the mountains, I saw many little snowmen in the Ponderosa Pines that the city kids playfully made and left. Now I see you and your family doing what *You do Best * becoming one in sprit, mind and soul with the horse like the great horsemen before you. You have been blessed with the God granted gift, and good Genes to 👢

You both are such great Mustang trainers, but working in a stall brings it to a whole other level. My goodness, don't they have a birthing stall, or two stalls they can open up as one? Someone needs to give you the same setup you have in AZ! Isidro is a true horse whisperer.
