Where have you been? You haven’t made a video I awhile so wanted to check in. I hope you make some more videos. Happy holidays!

Hey bud! Thanks for checking in. Man I’ve been busy at work, kind of went through a little mental depression I guess, and just got burnt out bro. Literally was knee deep in rc for years before I even started my channel. I actually didn’t run a single one of my vehicles from like April until a week ago or so. Ran the serpent for a tank and it was awesome. This season was a bust for me but come spring I’m ready to come back. Might ease off the track and racing world and just run like I used to, crazy how insane prices are getting on some things. How’s everything in your world? Hope you’re doing well my friend and thanks for checking in.happy holidays

Can’t wait to see you run this beauty. Congratulations on getting it. 👍🏻

Thank you buddy appreciate it. Thinking of throwing it in my truggy for break in and keeping the miles of the kyosho, then keeping it as a backup race engine. I’ll be sure to get footage. Thanks for always tuning in man and hope you’re doing excellent. Take care brother

Thank you man! Appreciate the feedback and I can’t wait to try it out. Might rip out the reds and just give this thing a shot early. We will see how she does!

Thats a nice engine, even the box is nice! OS based, DLC, 315$! Good price 👍

Yes sir! Very happy with my purchase and can’t wait to try it out. Plus, it’s just different. Forgot to mention in this video that it has a matched piston and sleeve like FX engines and maybe others, and a cooling head that is 10 grams or so lighter than a factory head. Neat little details that make the price even more of a deal somewhat. Thanks for tuning in and hope you’re doing well.

@@jeremywilliamsrc8797 Yes if you want quality it don't come cheap.i have picco's That were 350 20 yrs ago 😂 you still into RC'S??
@jeremywilliamsrc8797 Жыл бұрын
@@ofnaguycarlwatts8602 yeah man I remember being young and seeing the 300$-400$ novas and piccos and being blown away. Had a Rb concept ws7-2 when I was like 15, wish I still had that baby. I still have every single one of my Rc’s in my videos and enough parts and engines to open a small hobby shop, but unfortunately I haven’t really ran them much over the last year. I plan on changing that soon and just run and enjoy my stuff. I got into racing but my local track is really only for running electrics and it’s hard to run nitro there. I also just got burnt out for a second after going hard in the hobby for years . But I’m still here, got all my stuff, and I’m ready to rip whenever the rc obsession comes back, because it always does.

The OS 21J carb is considered the best for a reason. It’s by far the best carb I’ve used. Tunes very very easy, makes tons of power, and is good on fuel. This engine should treat you very very nicely. The O.S. engines take way less fuel to break in than the reds engines so it shouldn’t take you long to get this thing screaming
@jeremywilliamsrc87972 жыл бұрын
That awesome to hear, man. I can’t wait to break in this engine and and get a feel for the O.s engine. I’ve heard the same about break in, how they sort of lose their mechanical pinch faster and just work, even when they seem to have less compression then the Italian engines. No joke, I just ran my Reds 521 in my Kyosho at the my local track yesterday, put another 3-4 tanks on it and it literally just lost its mechanical pinch after over a gallon of running. Still has nasty compression as to be excepted with such low total run time, but it really took a long time for the Reds to break in fully. Ran fantastic too. Excited to try this O.s out and thank you for the information.

Can’t wait to see you run this thing ! I wanted one the novarossi ielasi useto to tune . What pipe are you gonna pair with it ?
@jeremywilliamsrc87972 жыл бұрын
Can’t wait to run this either bud! The ielasi novas are extremely difficult to find now. A few have popped up on eBay occasionally but they were over in Italy and I’m afraid the package would be lost in neverland if I was to order from over there lol in terms of pipes, Ielasi has a Type R exhaust and header system for 120$. It’s made by hipex and is supposed to be tuned specifically for his line of O.s based engines so I’m probably going to go with that. Might try and go a cheaper route and just order some version of a regular Hipex pipe and some kind of header to save a few bucks. Still trying to decide

Still have the Serpent RTR? How’s it been holding up?
@jeremywilliamsrc87972 жыл бұрын
I do buddy! She’s doing good, ran it about a month ago for a couple tanks, ran real well. Unfortunately I haven’t been very involved in the hobby lately but I hope to get back to it soon.

Nice👌, think you really gonna enjoy this one. Looking forward to see it run. Are you gonna show us the internals aswell?.😄 Also, buddy of my had his reds 521 sport broken in a final two weeks ago. Broken conrod. It had just over 4 gallons, so make sure you replace it on time.... 👊
@jeremywilliamsrc87972 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the input man! I might take the engine to a buddies house and disassemble it, it’s been freaking years since I actually took an engine apart or even had to. Gotta brush up on my skills with that but I know I can do it. I’ll keep another rod on deck and change it out in a couple gallons just to be safe.
