I wrote IELTS 5 years ago and I passed it all with 6.0. I had to write this academic again in June 2023 and I got 8.0 -S 7.0-L 6.0-R and writing 7.0 with 7.0 overall band . I had less than 2 weeks to prepare. Thank you so much . My challenge has always been reading. Sadly I’m just seeing this

Hello Asiya, just got my IELTS general results after serious, dedicated, and full-time efforts of 3-4 weeks, my scores are - Overall - 8.5, Listening and Reading - 9, Writing and Speaking - 8...You being my main source of preparation material, please accept my sincere gratitude! Got my results yesterday. Scored L7.5 R7.5 W7 S7.5 with an overall score of 7.5. I am from Chennai, India and took pen and paper based IELTS. Thanks to this channel, I gained a lot of useful information on reading and writing, and I prepared for around 5 days to achieve this score. I would like to give insights to anyone interested. @@abiyathomas345 Hey! Sure! Reading: The main constraint is time. Set a timer and try to complete the exam on time. Read the question first and then search for the answers. Don’t stay on one question for too long. Skip to the next one if you can’t find the answer and come back to it if you have time. Learn to read fast and instead of reading fully, skim through the paragraphs. Be relaxed and confident, you’ll definitely do well. All the best!

Mam, I am practicing a lot at home under exam conditions by my own. Everytime I get 30-32 or sometimes it's 33 but I want atleast 36-37 on an avararge..Avararge marks I get are 12, 11, 9 from 1st, second and third passage respectively. And I can manage in time so where is my problem? What should I do to get more 3-4 marks ? Previously I scored 7 (reading ) in IELTS official exam but this time I want to make it 8/8.5.
