Binge-watched your videos 2 days before my test and it really helped a lot, so thank you! -I’m an ielts first-taker and didn’t know how to start with my review. Did you stammer or hesitate while giving speaking test? I think you missed the trick in reading and writing because almost everyone who is hood at writing do not get a band more than 6.5 , however , they compensated it by scoring more in other 3.

Buddy,, I am an Indian working in a BPO and my main aim by working at such place is to create fluency in speech .. It's like trying to be the best version of myself tomorrow than I am today.. I was many a times dipped in by people saying your learning time is no more.. you are over, you should quit and should not dream big but I was like no, if I quit I rather prefer to die.. I ain't gonna quit so early and so easily.. I try to be enthusiastic during every single minute when I learn something cause thats what help me remember things and won't forget it later.

Rest I have listened to few speaking interviews available on youtube and noted the technical points to bring in like good vocabulary, synonyms of usual words we use in daily life, technical words if related and most importantly all three tenses (past, present & future) of any question being asked . It helps you speak more and put quality into it. This was my personal experience not any standard one which I am claiming is right. Thanks.

One of the most appealing parts for me was that the examiner kept quiet at many occasions to listen to the examinee speak. That allowed her to feel relax and express herself. At no time did the examiner cut the examinee on her course. He only spoke after she had finished making her point.

I’ve just had my IELTS speaking today. Since corona is surging we had to keep social distancing, so my examiner is about 2 meters away from me, both of us with our masks on. Though I really can’t blame this for my not doing well in the test, I think it still impacts my performance because the examiner feels so distant and we can’t see each others’ facial expressions. Besides, the atmosphere in the examination room is also very frightening and I talk less well than when I practiced. Anyways, wish everyone good luck for their IELTS tests!

i'm watching this as a practice for when i take the test. it looks easy when you're answering his questions in your head, but when you're saying your answers out loud while processing what to say and how to say it it, it becomes really difficult.

My speaking test wasn’t like this. I was given a word to talk about for 15mins. The word was navigation. I didn’t do as good as I hoped because I just couldn’t think of much to say about navigation. By the way, the only language I speak is English. The irony

In India we are told not to give short answers. We are suggested to speak for atleast 30 second per question.
