Whoever's reading this, guys IELTS Advantage is seriously the way to go - it's hands down the top channel I'd recommend! Sure, there are other great channels like E2 IELTS, but this simplified everything for me and boosted my confidence. I got a 7.5 overall (L7, W7, R8, S8) - I was aiming for an 8, though. I'm super confused as to why I scored so low in listening since it's the easiest one and also I was doing much better in the mocks? Plus I thought I'd do worse in speaking cause the nerves got the better of me. Anyway, the overall is more than I needed so I'm not sweating it. Hey Chris, thanks a lot for all the efforts you put into these videos. Got my test result yesterday. Got 9, 8.5, 7, and 7. My speaking test was on Zoom video call at the test center. It was a surprise for me and caused a little trouble, as I was not able to hear my voice back. It was quite better face to face when I took the test 4 years back.

Hello i watched some of his videos for couple of days . I did not do any practice relating to reading speaking and writing and i just watched his videos . Just got my results: 8 listening 8.5 reading 7 writing 9 speaking When I took my previous test, my speaking was at a 7. What made it different this time was that I decided to expand more on my answers. I tried to make it as natural as possible without forcing anything. And to really show depth of ideas. But I will say, however, that the time difference between the two tests was 5 years. So, my lesson is that for speaking, you have to demonstrate not just vocabulary, but also a certain coherence in your ideas and depth of perception. These are the things that have helped me.

Hi Chris, I have my test in 3 days. I was quite nervous about it, and then I came across your channel. I not gonna lie, but I learned a lot over the last month. Well, i don't know what came up on me, I decided to check my proficiency level (EF SET) and my results were quite disappointing. I got a B1-B2. Now I'm quite literally freaking out because they say your band is adjacent to what your proficiency level is. Please send help! 😭
