IELTS speaking test - 1

3 sections:
+ Introduction and Interview:
lasts about 4-5 minutes and gives the examiner the chance to find out a little about you through some simple 'getting-to-know-you' questions.
+ The Long Turn:
exam you have to speak for between 1 and 2 minutes on a set topic based on information on a card the examiner will give you. You'll be a given a minute to prepare what you want to say - just enough time to jot down some ideas to help give your talk structure and interest.
+ Two-Way Discussion:
lasts between 4-5 minutes, you will participate in a discussion with the examiner based on the topic in Part 2. The examiner is likely to ask you questions based on your experience or opinion of the subject.

Joul Fikar I will say 'creative speaking' instead of 'lying'. We do not need to 'lie' only if we are masters of the language. The purpose of IELTS is to exam your language skill, and your task is just to sell yourself. It is not lying if you are playing a role that is controllable, usually should be a little bit silly...because your second language skill could usually do not match your smart brain.

This dude is originally morocco. And to improve your English skills the best way to do that is by watching English movies. Practice makes a man perfect. I scored 6 band in iIELTS Academic without even preparing for it.

I'm also an examiner. Band 5 is right. Grammatical range was doomed at 4 but fluency lexical resource and pronunication would pull him back to a 5

I would say he would get between a 5 and 6. He is able to communicate and his grammar and vocabulary don't impede what he is trying to say. He does make a lot of basic mistakes and doesn't attempt more complicated structures. I would say a 5 but he could score as high as 6.
