This writer shows good grammar skills but doesn't connect details, sometimes going far from the main topic. If he prepares more carefully, focuses on ideas and structure, I think he completely got band 7

Hi there, I got a question about the IELTS band 6 and 7 descriptors for GRA concerning the difference. As I understand it, according to the band descriptors, for a band 6 the structures my essay should.contain are complex sentences (that is, subordinate clauses and relative clauses) and some other complex forms.If I want to get a band 7 in GRA, I need to add other complex structures (complex verb patterns, modals, passives, complex noun phrases) besides the complex sentences. Am I right?

I did my IELTS exam yesterday and I have a few questions: Is it okay to write over the time limit? For context I wrote 220 words for task 1, and 300 words in task 2 is this okay?. Second, the question in task 2 was about the younger and older generation, my main issue was that I only used “youngsters, teenagers” for the younger generation and “Older, grandparents” for the older generation in a lot of sentences is this okay?

If the question is anout "positive or negative development " is it necessary to include at least 1 body paragraph recognizing the point of view of the pther side which I do not support? Ex.. i choose positive dev.. so 2 body paragraphs for that amd 1 body paragraph about why few thinks it is negative??

Hi Chris, I actually don't understand why paragraph 3 is off-topic. The writer tried to explain why he didn't agree with this solution because flights are not the main cause of climate change. There are many reasons contributing to climate change, so he didn't agree with the view that reducing flights.

This is my opinion, pls correct me if any things are wrong The question is just asking whether switching to use other public transport is a good sol? I think you just need to write the reasons why switching is a good sol or it is not a good sol( doesn’t require to write what are the causes of climate change ) Eg. Switching is a good sol 1. Trains and other public transport emit less harmful air pollutants compared with planes . 2. Some electrical trains or vehicles emit very few or even no air pollutants Switching is not a good sol 1.there are many side effects including long travelling time… 2.travelling time increase thus more air pollutants are emitted

I don't get it how "many people argue that the growing trend of air travel constituting a major percentage of global climate issue" is a fragment sentence because it has a subject, verb, object, and a complete thought. I'm now afraid that all my sentences are fragments
