Just got my results this morning. I remember this video was uploaded right before my test and helped soo soo much. My results : L-9 R-8.5 W-8 S-7.5 Overall - 8.5 I had a terrible throat infection on my speaking day but I did whatever I learned from this Channel. If only I had been well I would’ve gotten more but it’s ok. The reading was very difficult. All three passages were super hard and a lot of the people there ended up missing the last passage all together. I’m so happy I got 8.5 despite that. Everything else I’m so happy with. I remember I had no idea how to write the essays the day before the exam but then I watched all the videos on writing and I got 8! I’m good at english but ielts is much more than that. There are certain technicalities they look for, especially in task 1 of writing and Chris is the only one who’s teaching it. Thanks a lot for this. I honestly owe my results to everyone behind these videos and I hope that every one finds them. I’m soo soo happy thanks a lot ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I obtained 8.5 overall . My exam was on 22nd july. I am really happy just wanna tell just follow what sir says even if your Institute teachers give you less bandscore Don't get demotivated. My Institute teacher never gave me a 7 in speaking I was frustrated but I followed what he said used those 7 words that he told in his shorts ( temperance,simplicity,clarity,courage etc.) It works I got solid 8 in speaking . 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

I got a band 8 overall in my ielts exam just last week. Listening: 8.5 Reading: 8.5 Writing: 7 Speaking: 8 Fyi, this was the only channel I used to learn for the ielts test. I was honestly scared when I first started learning for the exams. I remember doing some practice tests from a book and getting horrible marks. Because of that, I stopped learning for the ielts test. I was so scared and didn't believe I could get a good score. Overtime, I started watching other youtube channels but none of them stuck on me. They were just talking about tips and tricks that were needed to pass the exam. I solved some practice tests with these "tips" and realised that my score had still not improved. I had basically given up hope on the ielts exam when one day I decided to look for ielts channels on spotify. I was driving at the time and needed something to listen to. That's when I learnt about this channel. I"ve forgotten what you were talking about but it was a motivational message. I think you said that you wanted a better life for your son than the one he was getting in Vietnam. And that he even had to share a bath with you in your office or something Tbh, I don't remember the specifics. Regardless, that message really resonated with me and led me to check out your channel. I just want to say you're the best teacher I've ever had in my life and without you, I wouldn't get the score that I did. I watched a lot of your videos before taking the test. I made sure I not only practiced the different strategies you taught, but also understood what I was actually being tested on. You have no idea how grateful I am that someone amazing like you exists❤. Thank you Mr Chris. You're truly a life saver.

Hello Chris, thank you so much for your help. I received my results a few days ago and got a band 7.5 overall. Listening - 8.0, Reading - 7.0, Writing - 7.5 and Speaking - 7.0. Before I started watching your videos (about 6 weeks ago), I could barely finish the reading test and could hardly say three sentences without unnatural pauses in the Speaking test (Reading and Speaking were my weakest points). After watching your videos, using all your strategies, and working hard and smart, I managed to score the band scores I needed. One week before the test, I was still unsure if I was gonna get a band 7+ in Speaking. But after using all your advice, techniques, and strategies (especially during the one week before the test), I had spoken more fluently and confidently during the IELTS test than anywhere in my life. This was almost like a miracle for me and all thanks to you Chris. My advice for anyone who is preparing for their IELTS test is to just consume Chris Pell’s content and work on it. Yes, getting your desired score in IELTS is that simple! (but requires hard work).

All I can say is determine your weaknesses through doing practice tests and then work on them using Chris’ videos and website. For example, if your weakness is strategy, Chris has so many videos teaching strategy for almost every kind of Writing question. Watch the videos, read his strategies on his website, apply them, and see improvement. The most accurate way to know your weaknesses in Writing is through feedback. This could be from your good-enough local IELTS teacher, a decent online teacher, or Chris himself with his team. If you believe that your English level is high enough then you can give feedback to yourself. But be very careful, if you aren’t sure of your English level it’s best to find a teacher so as to guarantee getting the score you need. Good luck with your preparations!

Guys, I only took 2 days review and just binge watching this channel's videos (not all) and god damn I got a band 7.0, me and my council were shock af. Im just hoping for a 6.5 as minimum passer and Im scared that my writing would end up 5.0. But no i passed all of them and all I can say is this dude is Goat.
