But then she was half an hour late to our second date. Sorry but that's my limit. I didn't bother with a 3rd date. She showed a pattern of behavior. This was fairly early in my dating life, when I was still 'chasing' women and cutting them a lot of slack. Saying "no thanks" to an attractive woman who wanted a 3rd date did not come naturally to me at the time, but I simply refused to be treated that way. Men are conditioned to view women as the prize. They are not. There is no prize in human relationships, just a bunch of uniquely flawed people. Either someone's presence in your life improves it, or it doesn't. Never be afraid to walk away from anyone who isn't improving your life.

Once upon a time, a gent saw a nice pair of legs leading to a pleasant caboose and asked her on a date, with no further information available. There are pros and cons to modern dating. Being able to learn about someone prior to taking them on a date is a pro, for sure. But there is something to be said for the old ways too.

These are in fact the exact same women who then turn up on TikTok crying about men ghosting them and making "where are all the good men" videos. We don't have to be interested in every woman just because she wants that. I think for a first date it would make more sense to choose some sort of fun activity rather than something like dinner. Dinner carries the possibility of being used for a meal and also puts a lot of pressure on you to be interesting attention, grabbing, etc by choosing some sort of fun activity, you remove a lot of the pressure on yourself additionally, both of those activities I think imply a more casual vibe, which I think is overall good and if the person says no on the grounds of it not being some expensive fancy restaurant then this wasn't going to work out anyway and I'm happy I knew that ahead of time before spending money Edit. I don't know what I was contradicting with this comment but I think my rationale was that if the date is a fun activity, you can just do the fun activity if they cancel maybe take a friend in their place and just have a chill. I have an even easier response: 1. Reply back "Cool." It's really easy because it's just one word. 2. Delete her number. It's like 3 keystrokes on an Android phone. YMMV if you have an iPhone, but I'm sure it's simple enough. 3. Move on. You don't need to worry about rescheduling the missed date if you're too busy planning a date with someone else.

It's not bull. You got lucky. Not every guy will offer a second chance, and not every guy will want to be sloppy seconds to a corpse, either. I would strongly advise men to NEVER offer second chances, unless the woman puts in the effort to reschedule and follow through with the rescheduled plans. If you aren't proactive in rescheduling the first time you meet, he has no good reason to make you a priority. A lot of women have track records of flaking on plans repetitively.

story time. I tried to court a woman years ago, she had a kid btw. I'm not bad looking, got my own place, work hard. she went for the bad boy, which obviously is rarely the right choice.
