@@ArKeTiCt i wouldnt say its impossible to get them to like humans, honestly. the problem with pallas' cats is that they're a high altitude, cold weather, little access to vegetation species. that means their respiratory system isn't used to the warm, polluted air of a city, or higher levels of oxygen. plenty of pallas' cats might develop respiratory infections if their enclosures aren't properly prepared according to their needs. their natural habitat also didnt prepare their bodies to deal with toxoplasmosis so it's very hard for litters of kittens to survive if not raised in a completely sterile environment (that combined with the fact theyre solitary and females only breed once a year, also make it very hard for zoos in preservation programs to ensure safety of a litter).
