Or perhaps he is hoping that Arthur might do something bad with hunting then down too. That is also possible, either way the strange man like in the name, is quite. Strange. And crazy to think this is Fan made when it fits so perfectly into the story line if rockstar used this narrative since nothin his clear and its up to the character to determine the intentions of the strange man and making something that would have happened if Arthur were to live, he would be close to death but would be resurrected.

This seems….familiar. Took me a minute to realize what this reminds me of. This is so similar to what the Devil does to John Constantine. Removes his cancer to deny him Heaven. Hoping he will continue to live the way he had been. Giving him the chance to sin again, by taking his own life, like he did before. I’m not sure if this was directly or indirectly inspired by that movie, but it’s brilliantly done, nevertheless. It fits so perfectly with Arthur’s story arc, too. He is capable of determined brutality when necessary. Loyal to a fault. But he is also absolutely capable of a tenderness that is reserved only for those he loves and cares deeply for. Even so, it occasionally shines through his rough edges to help strangers who genuinely need his help. This is the type of second chance only gifted to those who deserve it. Arthur may be a bad dude, that’s done bad things. But, mostly, for good reasons. Like simply trying to survive. Sure, this can be argued, but no one can deny that Arthur’s life wasn’t a constant struggle from birth to death. This game and its story genuinely changed my life. I got wrapped up in this story far more than I ever have in a book or movie. For all his faults, and there are certainly many, I believe Arthur to be a good man, born into a bad situation. Manipulated and gaslit by those around him. It doesn’t absolve him of responsibility, though. We all have to answer for what we do in this life, one way or another. Damn, this was a great video. Really got the old noggin ‘a joggin.

bro imagine there was anoother ending where arthur survives TB (which was possible but very very rare) and instead of returning to the gang life actually goes off to tahiti with everyone thinking he had died whiel in actuality he was farming mangoes with tahitians but you had to some extra side missions for this ending make the missions like 10-20 so it isnt discovered on 1st playthroughs and this scene is the 2rd last mission 2nd last being travelling to tahiti and the last one being farming in tahiti (similar to epilogue jhons house building)
