I told my husband in the making process that I’m considering selling it and the red/gold one eventually. Then I finished it and started questioning that decision. Still leaning towards selling it though. But yes!!! I couldn’t love it more!

Wow, you really get creative with the trim! I really like the hat, too. I guess this is the definition of what some people call an “involved make!” Congratulations on a job well done! I have a whole new appreciation for all the work and decision making that goes into making a garment that is this complex and involved.

Thanks! The trim is always so much fun! Editing these videos give me a better appreciation for how much work I put in. That may sound silly, but sometimes I sit on a project unfinished for a while to give me time to figure out what I want to do, then I lose track of how much time I’ve spent. Anyway, I’m quite possibly weird in that, but that’s one of the reasons I enjoy editing my videos.

@@Sewingistherapy The fact that you don't realize how much time you've spent on a project really speaks to me that you must love what you are doing. I know not everyone enjoys sewing, but I always hope that they can find some sort of creative pursuit that they will love like you obviously love sewing.
