When I was 14 I was blasting out Sabbath and my sister was trying match me with Take That. My dad came stomping up the stairs and told her to “turn that rubbish down” to which she argued why, he’s playing his music louder than I am, to which my dad replied “yes, but his music is good”. This takes me back to those days, it’s that close to Sabbath!

Remember when the R&RHOF had only Rock and Roll musicians? No Rap artists, No Country artists, No whatever genre artists so that actual Rock acts bands and individuals weren’t ignored year after year after decade? I greatly admire Ms Parton as an artist and a humanitarian, but just remove Rock and Roll from the name from the hall of fame as it’s no longer relevant. I like Dione Warwick, but Do you know the way to San Jose and Walk on By are David/Bacharach are Pop Tunes. Have The Archies, and The Banana Splits been inducted yet? Big Brother and The Holding Company Cheap Thrills 8 weeks Number on the Charts in 1968, with the Beatles, etc. as competition, the band eligible for 1/2 a century and nothing. R&R hall of fame or should I type shame, is bullshit.
