@@stephaniewade5840 I used Normal pistons, redstone, a lever at each end of the pistons, and then I stacked Red Concrete Powder on top of that. When it's time to close the curtain, you just pull the levers and the powder will fall down. It also helps to dig a large pit at the bottom that also has levers and pistons that can open and close the gap so that you can open the curtain. I hope your daughter enjoys!
