My dude, have you seen the lore videos vaatividya makes? The story and the characters are interesting as fuck imo. And it's like how every piece(gear, weapon, locations, items etc.) all play into the overall story, even expanding across multiple games. For example, dark souls 1 items explain countless things that are in dark souls 3. It's like a giant puzzle of lore(y) goodness.
