Actually, I used the base model and 3 running sprites from SMM. I hand made every other sprite from scratch xD it's much harder that way, but in the words of my hero Shigeru Miyamoto: "Nintendo's philosophy is never to go the easy path, it's always to challenge ourselves and try to do something new"

Nope I just use good ol MS paint. You start with the base model and erase parts of it. then draw frame by frame what the character does. You have to be careful because one wrong pixel would make the whole thing look weird. I should make a tutorial o_o

Well, this whole video actually makes perfect sense. I think that it should have been the other way around, having Mario as the enemy instead of the protagonist and Donkey Kong as the main hero instead of the stereotypical lumbering beast they always portray King Kong.
