the cancer people Well, possessed are just humans enslaved into servitude, so they would never really be considered for any higher position and to be honest wouldn't even be reincarnated as they are human souls. As for true demons, I'd like to think that lower level demons who prove themselves in battle, such as by having a bloodlust or ferocity unmatched by its brethren would be turned into a more powerful demon as a reward.
