Continuing this series on One God, after learning that God (Elohim) created the heaven and the earth in Genesis 1:1, we can then learn that the LORD is God (Elohim). LORD in all caps is the Hebrew name YHWH that is most likely pronounced as Yahweh. Deuteronomy 6:4 establishes that YHWH our God (Elohim) is one YHWH. When Jesus is asked what the first of all the commandments is in Mark 12:28-29, Jesus quotes from Deuteronomy 6:4. But the New Testament is written in Greek, so the words of Jesus that are translated into English and the Greek word attached to that word is as follows: Hear oh Israel, the Lord (Kurios) our God (Theos) is one Lord (Kurios). This lets us know that any English word in the New Testament that is translated from the Greek word "Theos" is referring to God (Elohim) of the Old Testament. After understanding this, we can then turn to 1 Corinthians 8:6 and read the apostle Paul writing that there is only one God (Theos), the Father. So there is only one God (Elohim) and that is the Father. So God the Father is Elohim. Elohim is not 3 separate persons that make up one God in essence. God the Father is Elohim and His name is YHWH (Yahweh).
Once we understand who God (Elohim) is, we can then turn to Genesis 1:26 to examine a popular verse that many people turn to in objection to hearing that God is not multiple persons. Many wrongly conclude that the use of personal pronouns in that verse proves that God is multiple persons. In other words, this verse is commonly used to teach the doctrine of the Trinity. Genesis 1:26 reads, "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness..." Instead of bringing our preconceived ideas regarding God being 3 persons to this text, we can examine it in light of the other 3 verses in the entire Old Testament where God speaks using personal pronouns and come to see that God was speaking to His angels.
The grammatical structure of Genesis 1:26; 3:22; 11:7; and Isaiah 6:8 where singular verbs are used along with plural pronouns, means that God must have been speaking to someone other than Himself. We must ask ourselves why God referred to Himself using singular pronouns thousands of times throughout the Old Testament but in only 4 occasions He spoke using plural pronouns. Obviously there's something unique going on in those instances and this video takes a look at how God was speaking to His angels, a belief that the Jews had regarding Genesis 1:26.
In this video we will learn that there is a difference between "make" and "create" when God created and made the world. It will help us to see how the angels could have been involved when God made man from the dust of the ground and then went on to create man by breathing into His nostrils the breath of life. Please join me as we dig a little deeper learning why Genesis 1:26 should not be used as a proof text for the doctrine of the Trinity. God is not 3 persons, but is one singular God who is the Father and His name is YHWH (Yahweh).

I think you are right... When it comes to this subject Matthew 22:29-30 would always come to my mind. Also if we are made in HIS image and called to be sons and daughters of God as he was our example then it makes so much sense. 1 john 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Thanks very much for your explanations. But I have to ask, what about the throne in heaven in the book of revelations?
@ShatteringFalseFoundations
@ShatteringFalseFoundations Жыл бұрын
I'm not totally sure what details you are wondering about, but I take it you are asking about the throne of God and the Lamb as we read in Revelation 22:1,3. Are you wondering why it says "throne of God AND the Lamb" if there is only one singular Person of God? If that's what you are wondering, I like to point people's attention to the fact that there is only one singular throne. Not two thrones for two different Persons. When it says "the throne of God and the Lamb," it is emphasizing that the throne of Jesus Christ, the Lamb is the throne of God. Jesus Christ is God incarnate. When we see Jesus we are seeing the Father because of who He is. God outside of His incarnation in the flesh is invisible and omnipresent so He can't be confined to a single locale. The Greek word "kai" that is translated into English in the King James Version of the Bible can create a lot of confusion because too many modern readers of the Bible conclude that the word "and" makes it appear as if there are two different Persons of God on the throne in Revelation 22. But that Greek word is actually emphasizing that the throne is the throne of God, even the Lamb. There are numerous examples of this throughout the New Testment where "and" is used instead of "even" when context makes it clear that it's conveying the same thing. Here are a couple examples of how the Greek word "kai" is translated as "even": Romans 15:6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 2 Corinthians 1:3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; James 3:9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Now here are some examples where "kai" is translated as "and": Galatians 1:4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Colossians 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. Those are just a few examples of many. Now we know that the Father is God. So when it says "God and the Father" it is to be understood as meaning "God even the Father." God and the Father are not two different Persons. Jesus Christ is God the Father incarnate. There is a distinction between Father and Son, it's just not a distinction between two different Persons. The distinction between Father and Son is humanity. Jesus is God experiencing life as a genuine man. This is how God could be touched with the feeling of our infirmities. This is how God purchased the church with His own blood even though we know God doesn't have blood outside of His incarnation in the flesh as a man. What God did in Christ by manifesting in the flesh was become a man for the purpose of redemption while not ceasing to be God transcendent to His incarnation in the flesh. The one singular Conscious Rational Being of God is both God and genuine man at the same time. So the throne of God, even the Lamb is referring to Jesus Christ as the great God and our Saviour because of who His very Person is. This is a subject that can be very confusing to many who have been taught something different about God. This video is part of an entire series that I am doing on this subject. I encourage you to watch it from the very beginning as it begins with foundational truths from Scripture regarding Yahweh God from the Old Testament and then builds upon those truths from the revelation we receive in the New Testament to establish that Jesus Christ is the One singular Person of God incarnate. If you end up watching please let me know your thoughts. I hope this helps answer your question. If not, please provide more details so I can attempt to better answer you. @@davidb.e.6450 Yes this means that the Trinity doctrine as established and taught by the Catholic church is false. There is a video I did on that exact passage in John 14 so if you watch that entire series you will be able to see that video as well regarding Jesus Christ as the everlasting father and how Jesus Christ is not one of three Persons manifest in the flesh (like Trinity doctrine teaches) but is the one singular God manifest in the flesh. John 14:16-18 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Many people read certain passages of Scripture isolated from the context of the whole. This happens a lot with John 14. Notice how Jesus talks about "another Comforter" who is the Spirit of truth. We know from Scripture that there is only one Spirit (Ephesians 4:4) and that God is a Spirit (John 4:24). There is only one God, the Father and only one Lord Jesus Christ (God the Father incarnate) - 1 Corinthians 8:6. God the Father is the only Person of God that exists and the Holy Spirit is His Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God in activity. The reason Jesus said that another Comforter would be sent was because Jesus would not be returning to the apostles bodily but would instead come through the Holy Spirit (a different manner). On the day of Pentecost, He came to them when they were filled with the Holy Ghost. Jesus gave up the Ghost when He died on the cross. The Spirit of Christ is the Spirit of God. Romans 8:9-10 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. When we are filled with the Spirit of God, that is the Spirit of truth, the Spirit of Christ. This is why Jesus said that the apostles know him because He dwelleth with them (through Jesus Christ and the understanding that Jesus Christ is God incarnate) but would soon be in them (this happened on the day of Pentecost after Jesus died and resurrected from the dead and then ascended into heaven and poured out His Spirit as the book of Acts testifies). Verse 18 is extremely important not to miss because it helps us understand the entire context of what Jesus was saying. After talking about this "another Comforter, even the Spirit of truth" Jesus then says "I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you." This is powerful! When you look up the Greek word that is translated as comfortless, it is orphanos in the Greek. It means parentless or fatherless! Jesus is God the Father incarnate, the everlasting father. He didn't leave us fatherless, He comes to us when we are born again. When we receive the Holy Spirit we are being filled with the Spirit of Christ since it was the Spirit of God in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself (2 Corinthians 5:19). That same Greek word "orphanos" is written as "fatherless" in James. James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. Anyway, much more could be said and many details are covered in my video series and will continue to be covered as I have time to put up more videos. I hope they are a blessing to you and help you to see more clearly the singularity of God in light of the distinctions between Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

I am totally in agreement with you. I hope to eventually do a video that deals directly with this. I have people using that text with me a lot to try and prove a pre existent Son. Here is what I wrote to someone on this subject recently: I can understand the confusion that arises. With regards to wisdom in Proverbs 8, one needs to understand this in light of the Logos of John 1 and eternal life of 1 John 1. God was always speaking His Word in the OT. It was through His Word that the worlds were created (Hebrews 11:3). Just as a man’s words, or his reason are not a separate person from him, the Word (Logos) is not a separate person from the Father (Theos). We can distinguish between God and His Word in that the Word was the thought of God, and had a visible form, but there is no Biblical evidence that the Logos is a distinct person or personality in the Godhead. Looking to John’s first epistle helps shed some more light on John 1:1. John said, "That which was from the beginning…the Word (Logos) of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show to you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested to us.) This sounds very reminiscent of John 1. There is a reference to the beginning (John 1:1; I John 1:1), the logos (John 1:1, 14; I John 1:1), and an identification of the logos with life (John 1:4; I John 1:1-2). If John could say that the life was manifested, after being with the Father, and not mean that life is a distinct person in the Godhead, likewise there is no reason to view the logos of life as being a distinct person in the Godhead. Not only is the life of God spoken of in distinction from Him, but so is wisdom. Proverbs 8 speaks of wisdom as being possessed by God, and present at creation (vs. 22, 29-30). Wisdom is being personified as a person, speaking of itself as though it is an entity (or person) separate from God. Does this indicate that God's wisdom is another person from Him? Definitely not! I look forward to doing a video on John 1:1 which may help shed more light on this important aspect of this subject. Hope this helps and God bless you in your continued studies and pursuit of truth! I'm glad to hear you enjoy this teaching ministry!

@@ninjakn3628 Jesus is God the Father manifest in the flesh (the Son of God). There is a distinction between Father and Son, it’s just not a distinction of “persons.” Jesus is not just simply the Father since the Father is an invisible omnipresent Spirit. Jesus is God the Father wilfully limiting Himself to a human existence at the same time as remaining God transcendent outside of His human existence. God and the Lamb. Humanity is the distinction, not persons. Who is God and who is the Word in John 1:1 according to your understanding? I take it you believe in 3 separate persons of God that somehow are one in essence. Also how do you interpret 1 Corinthians 8:6 in light of what I’ve presented in this video? That is if you even watched it. You most likely are not following the biblical model and taking time to hear everything I’ve presented before responding. I don’t think you really understand Trinity doctrine nor do you understand what I am presenting in this video series. Jesus is the one singular God (Yahweh) incarnate. Not a distinction of persons but of God’s transcendent mode of existence from His existence as a man. Jesus was the express image of God the Father’s very person, not the image of a made up trinitarian “God the Son’s” person. Hebrews 1:1-3 KJVS [1] God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, [2] Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; [3] Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Jesus is God the Father manifest in the flesh, not a second eternal person of a three person Godhead manifest in the flesh. 1 John 3:1-5 KJVS [1] Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. [2] Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. [3] And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. [4] Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. [5] And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. The Father was manifested to take away our sin. There is only one God, the Father and one Lord Jesus Christ (God the Father incarnate). 1 Corinthians 8:6 KJVS [6] But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. 1 Timothy 3:16 KJVS [16] And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Most Trinitarians that I’ve ever talked to have no clue what the doctrine they believe actually teaches. If you take time to consider that what you’ve been taught to believe is in error you may actually allow God to speak to you through His Word instead of through the traditions of men.

Yes, it's amazing what one can read into any text when one reads all texts through a preconceived idea that isn't true. Many trinitarians turn LORD into whoever they want, whenever they want, in order to fit their theology. According to their theology, the LORD is only the Father one minute and then only the Son or the Holy Spirit another minute, while at other times the LORD is all three persons at once. But how much clearer could the Word of God get regarding the LORD being singular with regards to His very being. Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: Isaiah 44:24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; Isaiah 45:21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. Only after someone can truly see that the LORD God is the only Saviour and there is none else beside Him, can they truly understand what it means when the New Testament reveals Jesus to be God manifest in the flesh as the Saviour of the world. 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. The rest of my series on One God will be going into great depth regarding Jesus Christ being Yahweh (the LORD) incarnate and that there are distinctions between Father and Son, but it's not a distinction between "Persons." Human nature is the distinction when God took upon Himself the form of a servant while not ceasing to be God transcendent outside of His incarnation in the flesh. The one singular "Person" of God now exists in two different ways at the same time: as God and as man. This is the only way Jesus could be considered both the Root and the offspring of David. Revelation 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. So much to say on this wonderful subject!

The Son wasn't present at the creation. Only the Father existed and created and He did so with the incarnation in mind. Jesus was begotten on a particular day in history even though He was in God's thought and plan all along. This is how Jesus was the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. On a particular day in history God put His plan into action and God was manifest in the flesh. There is no such thing as the eternal Son because that would mean there would need to be an eternal mother. God is eternal, but the Son of God was born of a woman, made under the law. Like this video shows, God was not speaking to Himself nor was He speaking to an eternal Son. God created the heavens alone! Isaiah 45:5-6 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. Consider tuning into the rest of this series to see this subject covered thoroughly by looking to the Word of God alone. There is only one God (Elohim) according to Scripture and the apostle Paul lets us know it's the Father (1 Corinthians 8:6). The rest of this series will help one understand who the biblical Jesus is, not according to religious traditions but according to the truth of God's Word.

Yes, Elohim is a plural word in Hebrew, but that doesn’t mean it’s always referring to a plurality of gods or angels. For example, the Hebrew word “panim” is a plural word and it is the Hebrew word for “faces” but can also be used to describe just one person’s face. The examples below show how face and faces are the exact same plural Hebrew word. Genesis 16:8 KJVS [8] And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai. Genesis 9:23 KJVS [23] And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness. Both instances use “panim” which is a plural word in Hebrew because the plurality describes the many dimensions of a face. Elohim describes God’s plural of majesty, honour, and excellency. This video of mine below will help you to better understand the truth from God’s Word regarding the plural word “Elohim.” Elohim is referring to the One True singular God who created all things. It is not a praise in itself. Rather it is a commandment to praise Yah. The word is nigh thee even in your mouth. We are commanded by Messiah that, “...repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” (Luke 24:47). In other words, we are supposed to preach the gospel that came out of Jerusalem and not preach the gospel that came out of Antioch, or Rome, or England, or New York, or Chicago, etc. By the time the gospel got to Antioch it had already been perverted as we read, “...And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” (Acts 11:26). The problem with this is that YHWH spoke of a people called by His name (Deuteronomy 28:10; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Isaiah 43:6, 7; Daniel 9:19; Amos 9:12; Acts 15:17). YHWH did not choose the name “Christian” for Himself. The people of Antioch chose that name and all the so called main denominations of today embrace that name “Christian” for themselves. When Peter and Paul preached the gospel they quote the prophet Joel, “Whosoever shall call on the name of YHWH shall be saved.” (Joel 2:32; Acts 2:21; Rom. 10:13). The English word "Lord" is not a translation for the name YHWH but is a substitution. I ask you, how many of the church fathers and so called main denominations of today preach that gospel? None of them. Absolutely none! Paul makes it crystal clear that the end result of him preaching the gospel was that the people would call on the name YHWH. He says in (Rom. 10:14,15), The preachers are sent. They preach. The people hear. The people believe. The people call on the name YHWH (Rom. 10:13). I ask you, how many of the church fathers and so called main denominations of today preach that gospel? None of them. Absolutely none! It took only one generation after the death of Joshua for the children of Israel to forget the mighty works of YHWH which He had worked through Moses and Joshua and to began to serve the elohim of the heathen people around them (Judges 2:7-13). It took only one generation! ... ... ...

The name Jesus means YHWH is salvation. When we call on the name of Jesus we are calling on the name of Yahweh our salvation. I’m going to be doing a video all about the name here soon. Isaiah 12:2 KJVS [2] Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Jude 1:25 KJVS [25] To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. Matthew 1:21-23 KJVS [21] And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. [22] Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, [23] Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. We also must understand that calling upon the name of Yahweh that is involved with salvation (washing away our sins) takes place under the New Covenant when we get baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. This is how we call upon the name of the Lord in order to be saved. Acts 2:38 KJVS [38] Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 22:16 KJVS [16] And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. Romans 10:12-13 KJVS [12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. [13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. The name of the Lord is Yahweh and the name of Jesus is the name of the Lord because it means Yahweh is salvation. The name of Jesus is the full revelation of Yahweh as our Saviour. The gospel needs to be obeyed in faith. Water baptism is how we call on the name of the Lord to be saved (receive remission of sins). Praise God!

It states “In the beginning,” which indicates time has started. God brought forth a son, which started time Proverbs 8:22. Together they created the heavens, earth, and all living things Eph 3:9, Col 1:15-17. The son is also known as Morning Star, which means first light, Lucifer was called the son of the morning, which indicates that he was the first angel created by the son. In Genesis, the son was already in existence, this is why God is known as the Father. So Elohim in its plural state would be fine, since there are two of them working together. The son is God in nature because he came forth from God, but he is not Omniscient, only the true and living God has this attribute, the son took on the attribute of Omnipotent, the reason for creating through him. Angels had nothing to do with creation. When man sinned, the Bible states that man has become like ONE of them KNOWING good and EVIL, the son and angels never knew what evil was, this is why it stated ONE of US, for the Father only knew what evil is. Jesus the son had to go through the experience on earth to understand what sin and evil was, in order to help each and everyone of us. Yes the Father is the One and only true God, but He does have a divine son Zec 6:12,13. Everything was created for the son and through him.

So in other words you deny that Jesus Christ is God incarnate and you believe the Son to be a god who was created in the beginning. Are you by chance a Jehovah’s Witness? You can’t be a Trinitarian if you deny that the Son is co-equal with the Father. Please allow me to deal with your points one at a time through Scripture. Proverbs 8:22 is not in reference to a Son in the beginning as we can understand from the context of the first verse. It’s referring to wisdom and it is referring to it as a “she.” We have some major problems if this is referring to a Son directly. Consider watching the following video I did on Proverbs 8. The Wisdom of God Personified: The "Son" Was Not Speaking In Proverbs 8:22-30! kzbin.info/www/bejne/iWSYdZyjZdZ-fa8 You then said that “they” created the heavens, earth, and all living things. Yet the Scriptures say that Yahweh God did everything alone and by Himself. That creates a contradiction for you and your reasoning. Isaiah 44:24 KJVS Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; Consider actually watching this video you are commenting on to see who God was speaking to in Genesis 1:26. Consider what I present from Scripture in this video series regarding Ephesians 3:9 and Colossians 1:15-17. It all has to do with a proper understanding of the “Word” of John 1:1 and who we understand God to be. John 1:1 - In The Beginning Was The Word: A Deeper Understanding Of The Identity Of The Word kzbin.info/aero/PLo_7oh9llbNY9XoQ0tdLWsvXP0Kaz1Ov6 John states that Jesus is the true God and eternal life. 1 John 5:20 KJVS And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. There is only one Almighty and that is Yahweh God. Yet Jesus is called the Almighty in Revelation! Revelation 1:6-8 KJVS And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. [7] Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. [8] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. How can you say that the angels never knew good and evil? When do you think satan rebelled and the angels fell? It wasn’t after the garden. It happened before the garden. So much could be said to refute your claims since most of them lack Scriptural support or included passages that were simply taken out of context to try and force a belief that’s not taught anywhere.

@@ShatteringFalseFoundations first of all, I’m not a JW. If you read what I wrote, you will see that never did I say that the son was created, but came forth or begotten. If you study Biology, you would understand how that works with God, He didn’t speak the son into existence but literally brought him forth from Himself. I explained that the son took the trait that the Father gave him which is Omnipotent, this is why everything was created through him, the Father is the only one with Omniscience, this is why He can say He created all, because He is the All Knowing, and the son can do nothing of himself without his Father working through him. Jesus himself explains that in John. Jesus did everything under the Name of the Father, not of himself, so yes he can be called the same name as the Father Jhn 5:43, 10:25, 17:11. In Isaiah 9:6 it says that Jesus is CALLED by these names of Almighty, not that he is THE Almighty. Angels didn’t know what sin really was yet, till they started witnessing death and suffering. God the Father who is Omniscience has already foreseen everything, but it was a mystery to all others. Proverbs 8:22, this is where a lot of christians like to dance around and say its something else. 1Cor 1:24 says Christ is the Wisdom of God. Type Wisdom in the search and behold, you will find so many text reference to God and son, a woman In Bible definition is Gods Church which is Christ himself when he told Peter that he is the Church Revelation 12, Mat 16:18. Jesus himself even confirmed Proverbs 8:22 Jhn 8:42, 16:28. Everything in the bible always pertains to either the Father or the son, not some unknown wisdom. I already stated that I’m not a trinitarian. I only believe there are just two divine beings, the Holy Spirit is God the Fathers Omnipresent, which He uses to give life, communications, gifts or talents, teaches, etc… its His way of being with us without consuming us. The Father and son are two distinct beings. Jesus said “He is greater then I.” John 17:2,3 Jesus explains that the True God is his Father. I understand that trinitarians don’t want to believe it, but before Christ, the Father was Alone. Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, The beginning and ending. When all things are finished everything will go back to the Father 1Cor 15:28. The son came to earth to show us who the True and Living God is, the son is the reflection of his Fathers character. God is love, this is what the son wanted us to know and understand, that we may come back to Him without fear. GOD so loved the World that HE gave His only begotten son. God bless

It sounds like you believe in Bitheism (a separation between 2 divine essences or beings - ultimately a belief in 2 Gods, one that is subordinate to the other). Trinitarians nor Binitarians believe what you are saying about God consisting of more than one Being. You say the Father and the Son are two distinct Beings, yet the only distinction between Father and Son is human nature since Jesus Christ is the express image of the Father's Person (hypostasis/essence) according to Hebrews 1:1-3. The Son arose out of the incarnation when Yahweh God was manifest in the flesh through he virgin birth (1 Timothy 3:16). Nowhere in Scripture do we find the Son as another Being or Person next to the Father in the beginning. That is all forced into the text because of false presuppositions. In the beginning was the Word (Logos - thoughts, intent, plan). The Logos was with God in that it pertained to God and yet incredibly the Word was God! There being only one God, the Father, according to 1 Corinthians 8:6. Jesus Christ is the one singular God incarnate. The Father and the Son are not different Beings or Persons that make up God, rather Yahweh is the only divine Spirit, He alone is the true singular God and Jesus Christ is Yahweh incarnate. God is both Father and Son at the same time in and through the incarnation. It was all God's plan before the foundation of the world and He created the worlds by and through that plan. Jesus being the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world (all part of God's plan of manifesting His divine nature in the flesh). Jesus most definitely is God incarnate. Thomas received this revelation when He called Him His Lord and His God. Thomas was a monotheistic Jew and He understood clearly who Jesus was - Yahweh incarnate. John 20:27-29 KJVS Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. [28] And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. [29] Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. Isaiah 9:6 actually says that the name of the Son which is Jesus would be "called" (proclaimed or addressed) with the following titles: Wonderful, Counsellor, THE mighty God, The everlasting Father, THE Prince of Peace. Why in the world would anyone but the one true God be called mighty God or everlasting Father unless they were those things? Again, Jesus is called the Almighty in Revelation. Your interpretation of Isaiah 9:6 creates contradiction from what we read elsewhere in Scripture. We must rightly divide the word of truth or else we will fall into all kinds of error. Regarding your assumption that angels did not know sin until they witnessed death and suffering. There is no Scripture to back up your thoughts. This would mean the serpent in the garden was just a snake that could talk to Eve. It is very clear by understanding the Word of God as a whole that 1/3 of the angels rebelled before the garden of Eden was created. Angels were created long before the earth was created and all that is found in it. God did not create the earth without form and void! Something happened that caused the earth to be without form and void when we compare the Hebrew in Isaiah. The phrase "not in vain" is "tohu" in Hebrew which is translated as "form" in Genesis 1:2. So something caused the earth to be without form, He did not create it without form. Isaiah 45:18 KJVS For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else. With regards to Proverbs 8:22, you can call taking it in its context regarding wisdom "dancing around" but it doesn't change the facts. Yes, Jesus Christ through the incarnation is the wisdom of God because the wisdom that was with Yahweh God in the beginning (hid in God - in His heart) was finally manifested. God Himself was manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16). Proverbs 8 is not referring to an eternal Person or a Person existing with Yahweh in the beginning. Proverbs 8 is speaking of wisdom personified. 1 Corinthians 1:24 regarding the wisdom of God could only be written after the incarnation took place. Of course Jesus Christ is the wisdom of God! The wisdom of God was finally revealed when God incarnated in the flesh. God fathered a Son and that Son was Yahweh experiencing a genuine human existence as a man. The Word that was God was made flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:1,14). The Son was not begotten in the beginning. The Son was born because of the incarnation when God manifested in the flesh. The very Person of Jesus is Yahweh God, the Father. This is why 2 Corinthians 5:19 says that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself in the same chapter where it talks about our spirits dwelling in our physical bodies as houses or tabernacles. With that same understanding, God was in Christ making Jesus God incarnate. Not a different Person or Being from the Father, but the Father's very Person/Essence manifest in the flesh as a genuine human being. That's what the Word of God declares. Even Jesus said that whoever does not believe that He is "I Am" will die in their sins. That is a statement of identity regarding Yahweh. Jesus' very Person is Yahweh (the I Am) limited by a human existence. This is why we can call Jesus Lord and God (titles only belonging to Yahweh). John 8:19-24 KJVS Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. [20] These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come. [21] Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come. [22] Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come. [23] And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. [24] I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. @@graverobbersministry8939

@@ShatteringFalseFoundations Sorry to say, but I disagree with your belief. The son has existed before creation, in heaven his name was Michael [one like God], he held the highest position, he is also called angel [messenger] of the LORD, I AM, Captain of the host of the LORD, captain of the LORD of host, holy angel. 1Th 4:16 here is the second coming of Christ and the voice of the ArchAngel will raise the dead. If Jesus only existed in his incarnation as you stated, then why would he say “give me the glory that I had with you before the world was?” Exodus 23:20-23 God says that he will send a angel to His people, then says not to provoke him or he will not pardon your sins, this tells me that this angel [messenger] is not a ordinary angel but a divine being, nobody but God can forgive your sins. The angel of God appeared to Moses and told him to take off his shoes because the ground he is standing on is now holy because of his presence. Where did you ever see a angel of such demand? The Father has made the son equal with Himself, this is why they are considered as one God, that’s why its not Idolatry, because God has granted him homage Philippians 2:10, Hebrews 1:6. Jesus the son of the Living God is called the Word because he is the spokesperson or representative of the Father, but he is also divine, like begets like. If the son is the Father as you stated, why would he speak and pray to himself? If Christ never existed till the incarnation, then why would the Father say that He begotten him for the second time Heb 1:5, and He also stated in that verse, that he was one of the angels, it was Michael, the Commander and chief of God that was incarnate. God became a Father twice, one divine, the other flesh. Listen, I’m not here to argue. It’s up to you to do the research. How you view God is very important. I believe what Gods word says, if He says he has a literal son, I believe it. I believe God gives us plenty evidence of who He is and His purpose. Too many examples to list. Eve begotten out of Adam Only Two Commandments [two characteristics, one Masculine one Feminine, Judge and servant, Ruler and Love] God said “its not good that man be alone,” this is the kind of God I serve, He Himself is a compassionate and loving God, and I believe the statement He said reveals the same feeling He has, yes God was lonely at one time, this is where wisdom brought forth His dear son, and as a Father, He will do everything for him, just as a human father would. God has the same feelings as us, because we were created in His image and likeness. Emotions and feelings came from God. The relationship He has with His son, proves the love He has for us John 3:16, the relationship is real, those who denies this relationship has the spirit of Antichrist IJhn 2:22.

I have studied the Scriptures which is why I am doing this in depth video series on one God. I agree that how we view God is very important. In fact it is the foundation of the gospel and salvation. If we don't know who Jesus is then we won't get baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and call upon the name of the Lord in order to be saved. Jesus said that whoever does not believe He is I Am will die in their sins. If one doesn't acknowledge that Yahweh is the I Am then they won't understand who Jesus truly is. It all goes back to understanding the Word of John 1:1. The Word is Logos in the Greek. All of the thoughts and intents of God's heart, not a different person beside Him. These videos go into great depth to help one to see this outside of false presuppositions: John 1:1 - A Deeper Understand of the Word (Logos) kzbin.info/aero/PLo_7oh9llbNY9XoQ0tdLWsvXP0Kaz1Ov6 Jesus was the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world because it was already in God's heart and foreordained plan of what He was going to do through the incarnation. You assume way too much in your conclusions without any "consistent" evidence from Scripture. I could show you the inconsistency of your conclusions if you were open to discussing them. If you believe the Son was begotten before the foundation of the world then I would like to know how the Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world. Do you believe in two crucifixions? You are being inconsistent with all of the points you are making, but I won't bother taking the time to write any more since it seems like you have a made up mind and you consider this arguing, but at least consider hearing the entire matter as I deal with all of the questions you are having a hard time understanding the answers to in this video series. You wouldn't be asking those questions if you followed the biblical model and took the time to first hear the entire matter before answering. This entire series would really give you some food for thought and I think would help you to see where your current beliefs are in error regarding the identity of Jesus Christ. Here is the entire series so far that should be watched in order of the playlist in case you are interested in having your current beliefs tested: One God: Understanding the Singularity of God In Light of the Distinctions Between Father, Son, and Holy Ghost kzbin.info/aero/PLo_7oh9llbNbh0-mW2I3WrQcDBqQYDRVs @graverobbersministry8939

Logically, If man is made in the image of a trinity, then each man is also a trinity or it's not a true image.

Very true. I think many will argue that we are because we are spirit, soul, and body. But what they fail to realize is that our spirit, soul, and body make up one whole person, not three separate persons.

To what does " made in His image" apply? If you are bringing in the Trinity, then why not omniscience, and omnipotence.......you can't say logically here! Jesus said before Abraham was, ' I am'....using the name of God! Jesus said ' I and the Father are one'. John claims Jesus as God in the opening of His Gospel.....you can't get away from Trinitarianism

Judging from your questions, you're responding to this video without having even watched the entire video. One should follow the biblical model and at least watch the video to find out what I am actually saying about God's image. It's made very clear in the video. Also, this video is only a small part of an entire series I am doing so be sure to continue to hear the entire matter before jumping to all kinds of conclusions. If you took the time to listen to this series from the very beginning, you would quickly come to recognize that I am not denying the deity of Jesus Christ. I deal with Jesus being the great I Am, helping one to see who the great I Am is referring to in context to Scripture. What I have shown is that Trinitarians approach the Scriptures with a preconceived view in the Trinity doctrine rather than allowing the Scriptures to speak for themselves regarding who the God of the Old Testament is. I agree that Jesus and the Father are one; not one in unity as two persons, but one in very person or being. Jesus is God manifest in the flesh. There is only one God, the Father according to the apostle Paul. Jesus is God the one singular God manifest in the flesh. One Person of God who is both God and man simultaneously. Trinitarians believe that Jesus is "God the Son" manifest in the flesh. So they believe Jesus is only one third of God's essence manifest in the flesh since God's essence consists of three persons. This creates all kinds of theological problems that most Trinitarians are unaware of and rarely stop to consider, which this series will cover in detail. You stated that "John claims Jesus is God in the opening of his gospel" and then conclude that "we can't get away from Trinitarianism." This is what most people are taught so that's what most people end up believing. But many people who learn that one can still believe that Jesus is God without splitting God up into three persons, they quickly recognize the errors of the Trinity doctrine. They also easily come to understand and accept why we should get baptized in the singular name of Jesus Christ, not in the titles Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. But first, let's take a look at John 1:1. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. You assume this proves the Trinity because you bring the idea of a Trinity to this text even though it's taught nowhere in Scripture (most Trinitarians scholars admit this). None of the Old Testament faithful believed that God was three persons. They believed in strict monotheism and what perplexed many of the Jews of the first century was how they were to reconcile the belief that God was absolutely one in number (not in unity) with the fact that the man Christ Jesus was the Son of God, doing only what God could do. A Jew's understanding of Jesus Christ being the Son of God meant that they recognized He was the one singular person of God incarnate. Peter got a revelation of this when he professed to Jesus that he was the Christ, the Son of the living God. So let's look at John 1:1 through Trinitarian glasses. First of all, who is God according to Trinitarians? When we read about God in John 1:1, who is that referring to and why? When we read about the Word in John 1:1, who is that referring to and why? Most Trinitarians approach this passage by looking to the "Word" as Jesus Christ (God the Son). But who then is "God" referring to? Is "God" referring to three persons or just two of the three or just one of the three? So Trinitarians essentially read John 1:1 as follows: In the beginning was Jesus Christ (God the Son) and Jesus Christ (God the Son) was with God (the Father and the Holy Spirit) and Jesus Christ was God (the Son). You see how Trinitarians can turn "God" into any one of the three persons they desire at any given time to fit their theology. But this creates all kinds of contradictions within Scripture, as this series will reveal. If God is three persons, then technically every time we read about God, we are reading about three persons. This turns John 1:1 into a confusing mess. But like I have shown through Scripture in this entire series if you watched from the beginning, there is only one God in number. God consists of only one being or "person" and His name is YHWH (Yahweh). The apostle Paul makes it extremely clear that there is only one God, the Father and only one Lord Jesus Christ (which we learn is God manifest in the flesh). 1 Corinthians 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Jesus Christ is the one singular Person of God manifest in the flesh. The name of Jesus means Yahweh is salvation. God the Father purchased the church with His own blood. This could only be possible if Jesus was God the Father manifest in the flesh. Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. You need to pay very close attention to who was manifest in the flesh. It wasn't "God the Son" like Trinitarians falsely proclaim. Let's allow John in his epistle to confirm that it was the Father who was manifest in the flesh: 1 John 3:1-5 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. God the Father (Yahweh) was manifested to take away our sins! Jesus is Yahweh (God the Father) manifest in the flesh. His name means Yahweh is salvation. So anyone who sees Jesus as just one of three persons manifest in the flesh is not actually understanding who Jesus truly is. Jesus is the great I Am, Yahweh incarnate. Yahweh is not three persons as this series has established by looking to the Scriptures alone. Jesus is the great God and Saviour because of who He is, the one God incarnate. Most Trinitarians have an issue with this because they have been told that whoever denies the Trinity has denied the faith. Many don't stop and question whether or not it lines up with the whole counsel of God or why it was formulated as a belief by the Catholic church in the third century. This series will cover this subject very thoroughly. It will deal with other false views of God such as Unitarianism, Modalism, and Nestorianism. Most Trinitarians assume I am a Modalist because they don't take the time to actually hear what I believe by considering what I am presenting from the Scriptures. Father, Son, and Spirit are not just modes that God manifests Himself between. That's what Modalism teaches, but that's not what God's Word says. God's Word says that the Logos of God was literally made flesh. That Logos that pertained to God and was actually God was made flesh. What God was going to do in and through His manifestation in the flesh as the Son of God was in God's plan before He created the universe. This is how Jesus was the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. It was in His plan all along and He created the world with that plan in mind. The Son of God was God incarnate, but God remained God transcendent outside of that incarnation. So Father and Son are not two modes that God can switch back and forth from. God now exists as Father (transcendent Spirit) and as Son (a man) simultaneously. God was touched with the feeling of our infirmities because God literally became a man through the incarnation, while remaining God as omnipresent Spirit outside of His incarnation in the flesh. The distinction between Father and Son is not with regards to different "persons" but with regards to God as He exists outside of the incarnation and God as He exists in the incarnation as a genuine man. Human nature and a human consciousness is the distinction. The "kenosis" of Philippians 2 describes this in detail. God limited Himself by adding human nature to His eternally divine essence. This is how we can understand the dual nature of Jesus Christ being both fully God and fully man. The genuine human nature that God willfully accepted imposed limitations upon the fulness of deity as a man. Jesus' very person was God, but the deity was not utilized because of the willful limitation that God took part in when He became a man. This is why Jesus didn't know all things and could only do what He heard from the Father. This is why Jesus needed to pray. This is how God could purchase the church with His own blood. Jesus Christ is the Root and the offspring of David! The Root and the Branch. All because of who He is with regards to His very person. One throne of God and the Lamb. When we see Jesus we will see all of God that we will ever get to see since Jesus Christ is the express image of God's singular person. Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Colossians 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
