I don’t mind the pirate stuff at all man. Watching the show with the kids, it’s awesome. I didn’t even notice the two moms, I know Disney can’t help themselves sometimes, but there wasn’t a big focus on them and it didn’t interfere with the plot or feel jarring.

Didn't notice the two mom thing on my first watch. It's only when I saw wow pro complaining about it and saying stuff like the show's woke that I remembered. I rewatched it with the family, no one noticed. Does it gets on my nerves that Disney keeps doing this, yeah. But they also didn't make a big deal out of it. And it lasted like 15 secs. I think some channels are way too much in the business of getting people angry for the sake of views.

I liked the episode and my kids admitted to wanting more episodes and were glad I introduced/made them (lol) watch it. I caught the pirate references, but I figured there would be some with SM-33 being a “ Smee” from the previews so , I’m fine with it. The “two moms” didn’t bother me either, it wasn’t thrown in our faces, but I’m sure the producers had to include something along those lines from the heads of Disney. I’d say the kids acting, the action and the hints to a greater lore have all been pluses for me! I’m telling Star Wars fans that I know personally that haven’t checked it out yet, to do so. I hope the viewership increases as it goes on.

Perhaps KB is force sensitive, and the apparatus suppresses force use. The droids of At-Attan could be program to detect force users at birth, say there is something wrong like "the potential for a tumor or other serious space illness" and placed an insight inhibitor "for the child's protection." Thus, eliminating an unpredictable variable to the Great Work.

Tbh, same sex couples are the same as opposite sex couples. They don't have to matter to a story. Why were they the only family with both parents? It would have stood out less if they had other parents and therefor wouldn’t have been the purpose they wanted. At this point it’s just a token, like a check box, and everyone should find that offensive.

It’s more the fact that Disney feels the need to put it in like they are checking a box. It just didn’t make sense in the scene either, why were they the only two parents? Where was Neels dad? At this point Disney has lost trust of everyone after the Acolyte ridiculousness.
@cesarderioАй бұрын
@@TheForceFandom It didn't make sense to have a child's parents freaking out that their child is gone? Reaching, really searching for something to be upset about. If anyone is watching a fictional story about space pirates and children, literal children flying off in a thousand year old ship, and yet getting stuck on two women parents... there is more therapy time needed. Maybe step back from the tv/computer and go get a life. If you don't like it don't watch it, every video is incels crying because a woman in a fictional show has a wife and child and they still get none. You're jealous of a fictional character getting more action. lol

@TheForceFandom nah.. these are great! Look. I get it. This is too "sea shanty" for you. But due to Pirates Of the Caribbean, Black Seas, and other Pirates in the entertainment media, THIS is what people think about when you talk about Pirates. Correct this isn’t a kids show, but the marketed it as for a younger audience. I don’t care if they put two moms in, but to do it this way feels forced, no one else in those scenes had both parents, there was no narrative reason for it. It’s not that there are two moms it’s that the feel the need for there to be two moms. It won’t stop me from watching, but Disney has absolutely lost the benefit of the doubt. Especially after having it be leaked they actively do not hire white people, everything they do is forced by an agenda instead of what would make the best story. Thats the problem.
