Have you ever wondered what it would be like if your husband acted like a toddler? We're not like this are we ladies? Right...right?

About Dude Dad:
Hi! I'm Taylor Calmus, a Colorado-based actor/comedian. I started Dude Dad© two weeks before my son Theo was born as a way to stay creative while learning to be a father. My wife Heidi and I now have 3 kids and over 300+ videos. My purpose for the channel is to entertain, enlighten and inspire.
In addition to Dude Dad©, I have been in numerous TV shows, commercials, and have regular appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live. I will also be hosting my own TV show called "Super Dad" on the new Magnolia Network / Discovery+. Heidi and the kids will also be a part of the show. I am originally from the rural community of Howard, South Dakota.

Yeah I've witnessed this with my mom's boyfriends and I would always point out how much of a man child they were being. I was 15, just not the clueless 15. I would literally point out that they were 40 years old and they acted like they were 4. My mom's fiance gets like that too. My mom might sleep for a bit and he knows it and wants her to get sleep, but we were going to eat and no one had decided where we were going to eat at. So when I ask him, he talks about something about how I didn't make him angry, and I guess she did(she didn't). Then when she's finally up and we are asking where everyone wants to eat, she asks him and he acts like it's a big issue to be asked where he wants to go. I could tell he was getting irritated for nothing. So I simply told them the options, ask him what they had. We agreed and that was that. I also told them both that they had the weirdest arguments. But really I wanted to say they had the dumbest arguments. That crap gets old and it's unnecessary. I don't know why every guy my mom dates they act fine one moment and then they complain about mundane things the next. I've always hated that. This last event was a week ago.

The husbands were chomping at the bit for their wives to go to the garden or lighting sections. Then they’d sneak off to the tool section to have a moment to pick out that toy…er…tool they want to take home the most. Then find away to sneak back before their wives noticed they were gone. Taylor just happened to have been caught that time…😬

@@Gonzokeywest45 my ex-husband did it in reality. I don't recall what I was telling him "no" for, but he seriously turned on his heel and stomped out of the store to the car. All after yelling something equally as mature, along the lines of, "You never let me have ANYTHING!" I was mortified.

My daughter as a toddler: Loved guacamole. Hated avacados… love onion rings - but we had to call them “onion less rings” because of course she hated onions, too. One time I put her meal on the “wrong” kids’ plate for that day. Oops. Talk about dramatic meltdown. She was our “threenager”. It was so worth it! At 9 now she helps with her little brothers. She so gets them.

Choking laughing...the bed-sleeping scene killed me. I don't know how many times I've been socked right in the kisser and my husband's sound asleep and the 'I put $5000 in Game Stop'. My example of that was when I had major surgery and was laid up for 2 weeks my husband runs to the door one day while I'm on the couch and when he returned he had stacks of boxes he was running to his office with while having the biggest cheese grin/ guilty smile. When I asked hun, what did you do...after hmmm hawing around he spits out that he bought all this new computer stuff. His excuse was he was bored while I was in surgery,🤣🤣🤣🤣 so what was he supposed to do then runs back to his office like an excited 5-year-old.

Brought it back into fridge ans then back to table and then toddler accepts it) Also knocking on the bedroom door twenty times and ur like COME IN and they’re like: I don’t know how to open the door!!! (A door they have completely opened before). Also never statements: I’m never eating anything again! I’m just going to walk around hungry!!! (My four year old this morning). Also asking for sweets all the time. toddlers 🙂

Going to the bathroom in the back yard is so true of boys…men. My husband and I were going down the highway once. There was a man peeing by his car on the side of the road. He had his back to the road. I’m like, “he could have at least gone behind the bushes.” Lee said that maybe he was doing something else…not peeing. I told him that men stand a certain way when they Lee. He didn’t believe me. A short time later, we went to a concert. He came back from the bathroom and couldn’t stop laughing. He told me I was right. Men do stand a certain way. He had to wait in line and he noticed. I’m like, “I know. I have 5 brothers and we lived in the country. No bathroom for them. “

You guys are a riot! I discovered your stuff just recently, so I'm behind the curve, so to speak. My main interest is camping - gear, hiking, general adventuring. It's a bit of an addiction. Anyway, you recently made this video called "6 stages of owning an RV," which randomly popped into my camping-obsessed youtube feed. I watched that video and laughed my @$$ off, and it inspired further viewings of your stuff. This was another pretty d@mn funny one. I'll be sending your vids to fam' and friends, now that I know about y'all.
