I can’t believe this is my first time seeing this channel! Great reaction, subbed! RED is so dear to my heart, If I Break one of my many favorite songs of theirs that have special meaning to me and have helped me through a lot. God speaks through them and their brilliant musicianship and lyricism, it’s a beautiful thing!

Red is legit one of my favorite bands. I've been a fan since their early days and they've been there to help me through so many things in my teen years, early adulthood and even now. They're actually brilliant songwriters, you should listen to their 2015 album, "Of Beauty and Rage", sometime with headphones and no distractions. It's even better when you have heard the rest of their discography because you start to pick up on the subtle motifs and callbacks they've used all throughout their career. Great stuff and awesome reaction! Also, if I may make a couple suggestions... - "I AM" by Theocracy (11 minutes of extremely creative descriptions of God) - "My Promise" by Images of Eden (a really solid progressive metal band with the energy of old school heavy metal) - "The Helix" by Hands (ambient metal with really honest lyrics) - "Breathe Again" by Spoken (a catchy, but powerful track) - "A Voice in the Violence" by Wolves at the Gate (straight-up awesome metal with phenomenal vocals)

I want to first dedicate "A. I." to Linda who could never have quite enough screaming.... Two very different but related tracks, one written very early-- "If I Break" (around 2006 or so, but not released)-- and one more recent-- "A. I" released 2017. Both deal with the concept of relating to persistence of God's love. The first asking God if He'll keep his promise and the second from the perspective of having accepted, turned away for whatever reason, but realized later God's love does not fail even if, and especially when, we do. Two major themes that appear in Red's lyrics: 1) God's love keeps coming after us time and time again, and 2) dealing with and ultimately letting go of the past

@@Mrkessle _Until We Have Faces_ is my fave - - I think the highlight of their career. I don't mind them subsequently experimenting with their sound. There's songs to like on _Release the Panic_ and _Declaration_

I'm so sorry Erika but I have to agree with Leonardo. If I Break reminded me of all the big rock ballads I grew up with and I loved it, really loved it. I did enjoy how atmospheric AI was. Nice sound design (and screaming for our Finnish friend 💕).
