If I could only have 1 camera and 1 lens for youtubue, what would I pick? If money was no issue, is there a special combo out there that can do well at home in the "studio" as well as outside for vlogging? What's the best camera and lenses for youtube production?

I don't see the Samyang 12mm f2 for the Fuji X mount in your affiliate shop. I googled it, but don't see an Auto Focus X Mount version. The auto focus version is only for Sony. So if you are using an Auto Focus version on the Fuji, you would also be having to use some sort of adapter like the fringer?

Olympus EM5 III and Panasonic 15mm 1.7. Great auto focus, great stabilization, flippy screen, versatile focal length (street photographers favorite focal length also good for vlogging), 1.7 aperture for low light, cine 4K 230 MBS, nice colors and small size (530 grams total).

@@chirag4 thanks, the next time I travel I’m most likely going with this setup with an additional lens (Panasonic 42.5mm 1.7 120 grams and has semi macro capabilities) and editing everything on an iPad mini (300 grams). That’s my ultralight vlogging and editing travel setup.

Great combo. If you have an oly body ... instead of 42.5 1.7 I would choose oly 45 1.8. Much better af (especially in video), no CA issues. I also have a sigma 56 1.4. The only lens from the sigma trio that I would recommend. The best lens in the m43 oly 17 1.2 system (unfortunately a bit too heavy and too big for the m5)

G85 with the 12-35 F2.8 is good enough my crappy videos. Stop it down to F4 or F5 and the auto focus is plenty usable. Sure beats the Canon Vixia I was using.

@@salmanul_fares At F4 you still need auto focus for close shots or zoom shots. You'd have to get up to F8 or so to have everything in focus. I think the kit lens is F3.5-5 and auto focus works fine with it.

A6600 + Tamron 17-70 I'm happy with it. F2.8, decent for handheld shots (I don't walk while filming) reliable AF. And I have 24mm(almost), 35 (studio), 50 (studio/portraits), 85 and 105 (portraits) ... Nice macro as a bonus ... Hoping Sony releases a 10mm f2 prime with this rumoured ZV e-mount/A5XXX APSC ... Then my ultra wide dreams would be complete with a 16mm eq... Compact for "vlogging"/astro/landscape

I had a Canon M50. Used it for two years. Just upgraded to the Canon M6 mark ii and use it with the Sigma 16mm f/1.4. Love it for twitch streaming and studio use. Glad you touched on them.

Loved the video, (always do!). Chose the Xt-4 out of a shortlist of Olympus e-m1 mkiii, Xt-4 and Sony A7c. Use it for 50% photo 50% video, and after 6months I'm not regretting it. Not sure about 1 lens, I have 3, Samyang 12mm Tony2 (mostly used for landscape, fantastic), Viltrox 23mm 1.4 (for video, excellent), and ...and I know you hate it, the Fuji 16 to 80 F4 (for general purpose photography, getting great results doing macro at 70mm with 10mm extension +stacked Raynox 150 and 250's). Bought that as a kit lens at crazy cheap price thinking I can sell it at a profit if it's crap, turns out it's very versatile if you know the right settings, not the best for video, but definitely better than give it credit for, (fully weatherproof and stabilized too). The xt-4 is a fantastic though, if it isn't the perfect camera it's very very close.

My choice would be a Sony ZV1 with the Ulanzi wide angle lens, and a Crane M2 gimbal. It weighs next to nothing, wide enough, and rock solid. I would love your Sony setup, but $6 grand is ridiculous.

Careful with that Ulanzi. You're taping it, with strong adhesive, to the camera and it has it's downsides. And you don't really need it since the camera has a built in nd filter. I love mine. I shoot 24p, shutter at 50, shutter priority, and the nd filter handles any light conditions. This camera doesn't get mentioned enough. Oh, and it shoots great stills too.

The A7S3 is hands-down the best non-pro video camera on the market today. Even its IBIS is probably the best in regards to FF. However, not all of us can afford it's price tag. My advice for best budget cameras (camera only/around $1K) for KZbin. 1) Vlogging: go with M4/3 for its IBIS. Either Olympus EM5iii or PannyBoy G9 or Sony EV1. 2) Point&Shoot: Sony a6100 or Canon M50ii w/ Sigma 16mm f1.4 3) LiveStreaming: Same has #2.

I've been using a Panasonic AG-CX350 broadcast camera with a 1 inch sensor (8.8 to 176mm [24.5 to 490mm equiv.]) for everything I've done. It has served me well and I do not regret it at all as my first camera. The zoom just keeps going and going. I also think it's phase detect because I've never had any problems with auto focus with it - ever. It's like a GH5 on steroids, and it uses HEVC 4:2:0 4K60p, along with h.264 4:2:2 4K60p if you need it. They added V-Log L into it a while back and that's been my go to for a while, now. The HLG is super hard to grade. Oh did I mention it has 2 SD card slots and everything it supports (below the all I codecs) can be recorded on V30 cards? Yeah, it's nice.

Not for Vlogging (I only do photo), but A7c with Batis 40mm. Slight wide angle, slight macro capabilities, decently light and looks a bit less conspicuous. But would I recommend it... no. Too expensive for that and the A7c has some limitations for many users. As a recommendation I couldn't agree more with the X-S10!

Sony is coming out with a ZV1 with interchangeable lenses soon according to SonyAlphaRumors. I can't wait for that one because of wide angle. ZV1 colors look almost like Canon colors. hopefully it will be small, cheap, wide, and with great colors.

I currently have an R6 and an A7C. That 20mm really makes the A7C a pretty nice camera. It's quite good in full frame or in crop 30mm mode. I don't really like any of the other E mount lenses that much, though I did get the 40mm f/2.5 that was just released. I love using the R6 so much more, though, but at that one thing, being a good, light, small wide angle camera, the A7C + 20mm excels.

The Fooj, hands down. Yeah, for PRO work, when you can afford it, the Sony would be a better choice, but considering the cost and the image straight from the camera, the Fujis can't be beaten. You'd need three lenses (to be purchased in the same order): a good versatile zoom (one that you'd take everywhere) - Fuji's own XF 16-80 Toneh 4.0; the Viltrox Toneh 23 mm 1.4, and the cheapish but still decent Fuji XC 50-230 Toneh F 4.5-6.7.
