I’m 79 yrs old and was raised with country music. My parents would go to the dance halls while we slept in the car for the evening. My mom taught me how to two step, waltz, and polka. Then when I got married, I taught my husband and then we would go to dance halls. Loved the way I was raised

Yodeling comes from the shepards of the Alps in Switzerland and Austria, who were up high in the mountains with their cows, sheep and goats. Yodeling in Texas seems so out of place ... but in a way it is nice that you keep up the good vibes there.

Was in the station bar in Grindewald, (at the Eiger) and I noticed a little statue with german writing with "Jodel" amongst it. I asked the waitress and yes, it was a local jodelling trophy. Within seconds, two or three guys were jodelling quite happily. It's NOT the best beer drinking music available...But, The locals seem to like it.
