Sigh. Yet people root for characters on Game of Thrones even though they are not innocent. Evan didn't just decide to lie to these people out of the blue. They assumed that he and Connor were friends and he didn't know how to correct them. He was also trying to help them. It wasn't about him at all at first. Now, were his actions OK? Of course not, but Evan isn't an evil or malicious person. He got caught up in a lie and didn't want to lose them. A liar? Yes. A villain? No.

But you’re able to forgive him for that since he’s supposed to be this naïve teenage who didn’t think all of this through. There’s a series on Hulu called Pen15, where two women in their 30’s play 13 year olds and it’s brilliant. The production is so good that you don’t think twice about it. Anyway, I know my opinion on this movie and the performance is against the grain and I’ve accepted that lol.
