I just got me one of these and I love it. My favorite thing about these is the exhaust tone. I wrap cars in the side so it’s primarily going to be for advertisement but still love the performance!

IF YOU WANT A FUN DAILY and don’t care much about power and you want reliability go with the 3.7. If you want power and mods tunes etc. Go with the 3.0T If you want power but you don’t want to do anything to the car get the red sport 400

@@fated2k need some sound deadener maybe, or control your rpm better. I have no highway drone at all. Although I always run in manual mode and never use 7th gear. Get slight drone right at 2k rpm, but never cruise at 2k

@@fated2k Try adding some deadener first. It’s cheap and makes a big difference! The Q may have better deadening from factory, but I added some as well to the trunk and behind the rear seat pads.

You’ll really enjoy it! Actually this video you’re commenting on is my best recommendations on how to start. You won’t pull a ton of power out so just make the car feel good and handle well. Sway bars, lowering springs and tires are best bang for your buck. I have videos on each those things-installs and reviews.

Never. Best of both worlds? No. 0 performance with air suspension. It’s super heavy and people never run it at a “performance” stance.

@@SpeedCultureStudios I run the 3H system in my Q50, used to have rsr super downs, the bags handle way better than the springs. There’s no waiting for the spring to settle after a bump. The added height adjustment on the fly def makes a huge difference. I’d like to say the I ride at a performance stance but you can tell me, @Q50Kilo on insta :)

There are advantages to air ride if your preference is appearance. I don’t consider RSR springs to be very good even though that seems to be what most people choose. The weight of air ride is so great it would be counter productive in terms of what I am going for in this car. My Tein springs are very responsive and the car is super nimble. I have been very impressed.

Just recently subscribed to your channel. I really enjoy your content and your expertise. I will be picking up a used q60 rs in a few weeks. I'm looking forward to it being my daily driver. The only mods I will probably do are catback exhaust. Knowing what you know now, would you have gone with a different exhaust setup?

No. A lot less people would do it if that were the case. Test pipes and no tune would though. Or tuning the car and beating the crap out of it would, of course. Or a tune that is too aggressive.

In the video, you mentioned you consider changing platforms if you were to change out the q50. Would you consider cross-shopping the direct competitors of the q50 (I.E. audi a4) or would you just do a complete platform change?

I have actually considered an a4 s line. A friend of mine has an a3 with dual clutch and it is quite impressive. I think I’d rather have an s5 though.

I should have went performance first before looks and alarm system. I've wasted thousands of dollars DIY projects done wrong and paying professionals to do it right. All that money could have went to the motor and by now I would have been FBO tuned with a flex fuel kit and would have enjoyed the process

It’s quite spacious. There is a lot of adjustability in the seats so you could quite easily find a good driving position. I’m 6’ and can definitely move the seat back where I would have trouble reaching comfortably. I’ve had passengers in the 6’6” range in the front seat and they were comfortable. Back seats can handle 5’8”. Taller than that might a little tight with taller people up front

I have a really important question about the q50. When Im cruising between 75 and 80 the car starts to vibrate and even at higher speeds. So I went ahead and changed all four rotors to r1 concepts geo drill slotted ones and changed the front hubs still have to do the rear tho and the problem is the car still vibrates it’s driving me nuts do you have the same problem and if you do what did you do to fix??? Please help 😂

It refers to the portion of the exhaust that follows behind the catalytic converters. Everything from the "cats" back. They can be expensive, or you can find some good deals. Check out my exhaust videos.

@@karumosr3219 Depends on what you go with. If your catback includes mufflers and resonators, then no not necessarily. If it is a very wide open catback, then yes it might be louder. You could find a lot more information quicker by watching my exhaust videos or doing some searching. I would imagine most of your questions will be answered very quickly.

It's a tough question. Ultimately, you have to decide what is more important to you. Proven longevity and a nice sound with a decent amount of power. OR the the ability to easily make 450+ hp

$150 test pipes, $100 drop in filters, $700 tune. $950 NOT $2000 and these cars dyno stock at about 280. You’ll make 335-340 with a tune that’s 55-60 hp NOT 35. Not huge, but way better than 35 lol
